no, so when he puts they in...

usually when I break a bolt removing them it's because I overtightened (hence why I always use a torque wrench on stuff like that)

lol... i dont torque anything that is smaller than a 17mm socket, except head studs. those are only 9/16".

when you get enough expereience, you know when yous hould stop turning. i usually only go another 1/8 turn after the bolt/nut stops turning, at least for non-critical, non-load bearing items. bigger things like the alternator and ps pinch bolts or wheel lugs, i go probably a full 1/4 turn after they snug up.

anythign that has a gasket I torque...

or anything I have broken before

it's easy to use a torque wrench (it's longer so I have more leverage anyway)

lol... well i havent broken anything (when tightening) in ages. ive got a good touch now. ive broken things when removing, but mostly stuff that is in an open hole and rusted threads, like bolts going into the bumper beam and such.

I love how these JZ boyz are coming on here and saying how much eisier the 1JZ is to work on over the 7M because of the spark plugs. Try comparing replacing fuel injectors. I swapped out the injectors on my friends 1JZ and I literally could not get my big hand where it needed to be around the fuel rail. I never had that problem working on my 7M injectors.

Either way. The 7M isn't bad after some practice.

Changing spark plugs, wires, rotor, and cap on my 6G72 took 3 hours the first time, and about 1 1/2 hours the second time after getting a bad batch of wires the first time around

It's just you ;).
Took me like an hour and a half to change an igniter on one once. You have to remove the entire intake system just to get at it :nono:

Its an I6 with everything right in front of you, with the exception of the inconvieniently placed oil filter location (remote kit! *solved*) the 7m is cake.
