yeah, I'm thinking the white/green gauges will be fine, the blue ones I could see an issue with (and it's been confirmed...)
Yep. I plan on changing the bulbs in the dash to brighter ones to match it closer.Doward said:Is that pic with your dash gauges turned up to full brightness? I want to find out what wavelength of green they are using!
I haven't messed with this yet. I didn't know they could do that. All i've done is disable the power-on sound, and toy with view/clear peak, and set the warning psi on my boost gauge.annoyingrob said:From what I understand, the warning levels can flash alternating colors. Will it do this independant on what color you have the gauges lighting up as?
I thought that was normal. What was your readings before with the stock gauge. I think normal idle is 3-5 psitheKnifeArtist said:has anyone already hooked up their prosport oil pressure gauge? i'm just wondering what kind of readings your getting. either this gauge reads weird, or i have a problem. i'm seeing 5psi oil pressure at a idle when the car is fully warmed up. this possible?
Thanks for the pic. But im assuming your car has tinted glass or does it? Im looking for a pic with windows down on a sunny day. Preferably with the targa out as well as that will be my application. Any help from anyone will be greatly appreciated.DaemoN said:Here's a daylight picture for those that have been waiting:

Sorry it isn't better, I went out to warm up my car for work and decided to snap that while I was out there. Time for work!
ok now that we have determined that everything is normal. Im still wondering why you think this is a problem? What was your readings before the guage?theKnifeArtist said:has anyone already hooked up their prosport oil pressure gauge? i'm just wondering what kind of readings your getting. either this gauge reads weird, or i have a problem. i'm seeing 5psi oil pressure at a idle when the car is fully warmed up. this possible?
mk3forme said:SS that question is directed towards knife. Im wondering why he thinks normal idle pressure is a problem. And what his readings were before the prosport guage. Either his stock gauge is wrong or his prosport is wrong. Im trying to determine that too. If members are having problems getting good readings then that would give me reason NOT to get these.
What I don't get is why in many threads, people have freaked out as soon as their idle pressure reads 10psi and the needle starts thinking about dropping below 10 psi. Were they just being paranoid and not reading the manual or is it different for those with NA-T's?conundrum07 said:TSRM spec for oil pressure is like 4psi at idle for the GTE. Dont worry about it.
