Oh man, what happened??
My internet is dieing, it seems. I'll have to get cox back out here AGAIN.
Long story short, I'm ok, busting ass to make ends meet, taking care of business, wondering what this error pertains to -
"Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing or mismatched.
If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error."
And May 30th have an appt with Polak to find out what the deal is with everything.

His attorney was trying to get it set up so that if Doward turned himself in, he would get either a reduced sentence, or the possibility of doing work detail again, instead of spending 59 days in jail. However, John can't seem to drive anywhere close to the speed limit, and got himself pulled over today, for "driving kind of crazy" as the officer put it. Which, being John, tells me he was doing his normal of weaving in and out of traffic and speeding like he was in a sports car, instead of a beat-to-shit Honda Accord.
His attorney has been notified, and I'm trying to get everything else figured out, but it looks like he will be doing 2 months down in good 'ol Sumter County.
Is there anyone here that bought something from him, or donated in exchange for parts, that has not gotten what they requested? I'm not exactly kept in the loop as to what he has or hasn't sold or shipped off, so if he still owes you parts, please PM me and let me know.
I'll keep you all informed when I get a chance to get online.

Ugh, that really sucks. I had a feeling that was going to happen sooner or later. From my experience courts just cant be reasoned with. The only good thing that I can say is at least the ball is rolling now one way or another. Hopefully he can get out and back to you soon.
shit. just found this thread, and was hoping all went well. I have had friends get in trouble for shit too, and have found that lawyers work like this:
No money yet - "Hey I think I can get you out of this no problem"
Fully Paid - "How about we plea bargain this shit down to like a weekend in jail, etc."

Ahh jeez. If Doward doesn't mind, post up his contact info when he gets it. Maybe we all can send him a hang in there card, or something. He'll be fine and out in no time.
He is required to do 59 days. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. No bail or bond, either.
If we're lucky, his attorney will be able to get a reduced sentence, but it's not looking hopeful, since John didn't turn himself in, and got pulled over (this is why he was sentenced in the first place, for his driving habits).
The next few days are going to be kind of hectic, he has to be transported from Alachua County to Sumter County, and then I'll be able to visit him and get his contact info. When I do, I'll make sure to post it up here.
And I can't even begin to thank everyone for their support today...it's been rough, but you all have helped

how crowded are the jails there? Here, if you are senteced to 2 months, you would be hard pressed to spend half that behind bars. When it comes right down to it, and they need the bed space, some "maniac behind the wheel" is pretty low priority. I hope he is able to get the benifit of that and get out early.
