Honestly, seeing a guy choke out his own dog, (in my opinion) was sadder than ANY other movie ive ever seen in my life.

I give it a B- in my book, Good enough that I'd buy it on DVD.
I thought the best scenes was when the dog entered that dark apartment and when Will had to kill his dog.
The book captures the emotional struggles/action scenes better than movie...
Kinda just left you thinking damn he lost his family and everyone in the world, 3 years later it just been him and his dog. The books details can never be put down on video which made this movie not a full success for me.

The movie was eh.. the shaking camera angles in the beginning made me nauseous.

Same here! I went to see it in a brand new top of the line theater. DLP High Definition projectors, best you can get without going full IMAX, semi-wrap around HUGE Screen and stadium seating. take that huge life-like picture and add in the weird camera angles/changes and DANG. I loved the over-head view though where the buildings almost seeemed 3d.
