My Mom: Loves the car, only complaint to loud, not turbo

Brother: Get a Rx-7, its faster

Girlfriend: Loves my car and jumps at any chance to drive it

Everyone else: "Get a honda, so you wont have a hard time finding parts cause everything for a honda is JDM" ~_~!!

all in all I dont really care if my car is a *money pit* its MY car and I dam well love it

But I dont mind, I get gratification out of knowing I own a Supra. Even with the problems I face ever so often.

people i dont know are all excited about it and then ask about the year and arent as excited anymore, but I think its more or a lack of knowing what it actually looks like considering the year to them.

But to the people I do know, they all like but the question I hate having to hear is "when is that supra going to be running again?"

I'm almost 6'8". Cant complain. Funny thing is I only pay like 96$ a month for full coverage on my NA and im 17. wheee

i'm payin full coverage on my 89 turbo (cover's my 19k mile motor too ) for $85 a month i'm 18, but it was the same when i was 17 too

i get quite a few people admiring my car and friends girlfriends asking if they can drive it..

i think of hondas like i think of nascar... yeah they can be fast in a straight line alright (albeit very scary) but once there is a turn... shit happens (don't know if anyone followed le mans a few years ago.. nascar driver driving for the c5-r team...first turn he spun out...)

plus they have to spent way too much money just to make their car faster than our stock supras.... buy their civic... buy their 'jdm' yada yada cost more than my car alone and still have less horsepower engine and... no not quite fast enough yet! ......... buy either their nitrious (good luck with that sir) or turbo kits (if they ever use the right injectors or fuel pump.. or tune the car)... their 30$ "coilovers" (ebay it they are out there.. scary)....

hondas are easier to work on though thats for sure... especially when i compare the time it took me to replace my tranny and the time it took us to replace theirs..

but anyways i get mainly positive feedback about my car, especially from how clean i keep it

and i hear "when is your car going to be finished" ALOT.... hehe

Same here. My parents arn't too inthused. The only reason my dad knows my car has a 7m is because he helps me find parts online. Despite the shame, most of my friends know my car's potential and respect it... They ever call it the beast. lol
