Thats giving the holset an advantage, because 12psi on a GT40-88 isn't even near efficiency.

No spray. Just 93 octane pump. If your local dyno has a MAP sensor on it, it can record the boost curve in relation to RPM.

Just stating a known fact. If you want to compare turbos, it's going to have to be at 12psi because the A340E can not hold anymore power. I don't think the holset will have that problem :)

I can attest to the Holset H1E making sick power through simply flowing tons of air. I have one on my BMW:

Actually I joined to spread word about our big ass FI meet here, but realized you guys don't have a regional forum or so it seems.

I think its an 18cm^2 or 20 or something - it's not a 16 I know for sure. Did you mean outside shots of the whole car or outside pics of the turbo?

Back on topic. A 20cm^2 is much bigger than what my turbo has. Mine's a 12cm^2. That thing is huge!~

realistically if the holset is ANYWHERE NEAR the garret, it's a bloody massive disgrace for both RIC and garret.

either way it'll be nice to have some solid numbers to put next to this and end the stupid "my dick is bigger than yours" war.

I'm still saving for this damned wastegate. I could buy it now but then I'd have to miss the drift event on sunday and I can't have that.

If anyone sees a tial for under $300 lmk.

Just got one with .7 spring so maybe running by saturday? I can't wait.

Well, my turbos completely took a shit last night on my way home. Car drank a qt of oil in like 10 miles. damned thing screams like r2d2. Time to get started :)

Last night the stock stuff came off and I mocked everything up. It all fits with room to spare.

As of tonight the wastegate dump and downpipe are done. Gonna put some bungs on tomorrow and maybe some 550s. Waiting on a new front main and my other cam seal.
Also, I was thinking I'd paint my valve covers and compressor housing gold. Anyone have suggestion/opinion on that?
