Is their anyone who uses the stock manifold with the t3 adapter?
ive seen it before but like to again.

This is my buddy's setup before he got rid of his supra last summer. The turbo is a WH1C, which is the generation prior to the HX series with an undivided t3 footprint. Similar boost characteristics to my pre-1998.5 HX-35 coming on early 3k rpm with the help of the FFIM and also had a big FMIC. Unfortunately, no dyno numbers before he got rid of it.kamikazemkiii;1510680 said:Is their anyone who uses the stock manifold with the t3 adapter?

Negative, I have the HKS long runner manifold with t3 adapter. My buddy used the stock manifold with a T3 adapter/riser.kamikazemkiii;1511353 said:Looks good, did u use the stock manifold with the T3 adapter?

I silver soldered a fitting on the feed and drilled a 1/16 hole wich flows 1.5 ltr/min @ idle. I can't remember but I think holset calls for 2 ltr per min. so when i'm driving the oil pressure rises so im in the ball park.
It's been working great for 2 summers now, turbo bearings feel as good as they did when i first installed it.
BTW this was on a 1jz, 7m oil flow/pressure is different.
I was also thinking of picking up a 6-blade HX-40 and swapping in a smaller a/r than the 18cm housing i.e. http://www.htturbo.com/thnew.htmRockPaperSwoRD;1513103 said:what rpm does it spool on a 1jz? im looking to put a hx40 on mine, with an 18 cm housing. hopefully it wont be tooo laggy
