You want to connect your fuel pump power wire to the big black/orange wire coming from plug B1.

Most people just do the "12v mod" which is essentially powering on a relay using the stock fuel pump wiring, and the relay will feed direct battery current to your fuel pump.

Good luck!

are you talking about taking out the FP yellow wire from the ecu and connected to the black/orange wire?

Find pin 6 of the b1 plug, and ground it. In most cases i have seen its a green wire. shown here http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TEWD/MK3/manual.aspx?S=Main&P=47

The problem is that the old computer signaled the fuel pump, and the 1jz computer does not have that ability. Very common issue.
okay do i take out the wire from the plug and ground it to the body ? because i did that and same thing happen.

Leave that green wire grounded. Now do you have the relay and resistor on the passenger fender? Is it bypassed?

yes they are. bypass you mean by jumping the 2 big wires together n the 2 little wires together on the relay?

No, thats not what i mean by bypass. I was talking about the "12v mod"

If the relay and resistor are still there, it should run, but you might want to do the "12v mod" in the future.

Back to the b1 plug.
The b1 plug has wires that come from the engine harness, and plug into the body harness.
You want to ground (the previously mentioned green wire) on the body harness side. Is that what you did?

yeah i hear click off and on. but why is that bro?
well i grounded it from the engine side and nothing there so imma try the bodyside now.

yes but only when i jump FP and +B. but when i dont jump them the fuel pump turns on when i start the engine n turns off after the engine shuts off?

well when i check the volts on the ecu on FP pin 16 i only get 10.83 volts. so it should be pumping. because today i took out the feed line from the dampener and i jump FP and +B on the diagnoses plug. and a lot fuel came out but it is enough is my question??and shouldn't it still be running even if my pump is not pumping enough pressure??

Your checking the pump voltage, at the ECU? Seriously? ::facepalm::

I give up, check your cam sensor.

Ok then, I'll take over.

1) Have you checked codes?
2) When the car dies, have you checked to see if the pump is still running?
3) To elaborate on Chip's comment, when you check voltage for the fuel pump you need to check AT the fuel pump. There may be a problem in between the pump and ECU, checking at the ECU doesn't tell us enough.

We are trying to eliminate the fuel pump from the potential problems list.

may want to ck your water temp sensor. mine did the smae thing and it was cuz my water temp sensor had broken wires at the plug.

weird ? mines is connected. but what does water temp sensor got to do with running?

The engine computer uses the water temperature sensor to calculate many many things.

Let me try to help you here..

1) What model ECU do you have? Soarer, Supra, Chaser?
2) When you check for codes, does it flash quickly, or not flash at all?

I'm suspecting that there may be a "fuel pump health" wire which you need to feed 12v into to trick the ECU into thinking that your fuel pump computer is functioning. In reality you're not running one, but you want the ECU to think you are. This is a shot in the dark, I'm more a 2JZ expert not a 1JZ but they are very similar so once you tell me what ECU you're running I'll check out the pinout and see what's up.

Okay well the water temp sensor is connected but there no water in it. im just testing right now.

1) I have a jza70 ecu, harness.
2) It flashes rapidly.

okay and what do i do to make the ecu think that ?

i will make a video for you guys
