Thats my secret :icon_bigg If you cut a 2.5 inch hole in the firewall behind the intake manifold you can run the harness through the dash behind the cluster and into the glove box with out any extending. This works for both 1j and 2j swaps as multiple of my friends have done it. Makes it look so much cleaner. As for the other parts of the body harness I tucked it all under the fenders.
Went to SILV and dynod the car and it made 340 hp at 11lbs Heres the dyno graph and the video.

Good numbers. Still in stock computer and fuel? You can hit 400 easily if you raise the boost and upgrade the fuel. I am not sure but 550's would be enough to run 400 to wheels. I can be corrected.

I hope to go down to SILV next year. What was the cost of running on the dyno? Is there a fee to attend because the pictures show that it takes a lot of work to organize it.
Ya ive spent more than enough of the project for now and im gonna start saving up for fuel and engine management. Im looking into going pro efi for the ems and will do full fuel set up as well. Gonna be a long time though. Im the mean time it will stay they way it is, not doing the piggy back route.

O, okay. That is a good deal. Makes 100% sense that you are going to save and do it right. I took apart my 1JZ recently and plan on upgrading to a single but run stock fuel and boost to break in the engine and after that.....EMS and full fuel upgrade...feed and return lines, pumps, injectors and rail.
I am going to put a stock AFPR with the stainless feed and return lines to the stock lines to the tank. When I run the full braided lines too the tank, I am going to put in a fuel filter in as well on the return side.
I am not sure but could you E-Mail me some pictures of the hole you cut in the firewall to route the wiring harness, exactly where to cut. Don't want to make a mistake there. :-/

I saw that you bought your powdercoating gun from Harbor Freight. Did you get the oven there as well? How hard was it to get it powder coated?
It wasnt hard at all I just found an old oven on craigslist and used that to bake the parts. I used powder form eastwood.com and make sure you sand blast the parts first.
I would just polish them or chrome them because the Powder coating holds in alot of heat to be honest

I have a load of exhaust wrap to wrap my manifold and then the aluminum wrap one to cover the black wrap so it looks shiny and a nice turbo blanket too. 
Looking good as usual. I'm about to go 2JZ as well and just have a question.
When cutting the hole behind the intake for the harness.. does the wire harness fit easily without extension or does it just barely make it where it needs to go? Also, is there any chance of you recalling exactly where you cut the hole? Is it visible at all with the engine in place?

On my 1jz with a Jza70 and a Jzz30 and also with his 2jz , cutting the hole in the firewall (with is just below and a little to the left of the throttle cable hole) allowed us to run the harness behind the cluster and be able to make it to the glovebox without extending the harness at all.
