LIPP rail, and call it done

This. I can build one to fit my massive injectors for about 1/3 of the cost of the LIPP rail, and I need some serious flow for the E85

Sean, can't wait to see this thing going. This build is inspiring me to get up off my lazy ass and work on my car. Haha

I think I'll try to get the engine in this weekend. After I get a hatch with glass, good black hood (black on red = sex), and passenger seat, all for under $100 :D
Good deal Chris!

Ok I will give you that since it is only $11 a foot. Just measure up you OEM rail, drill and hone the injector holes in the correct spot. It would suck to have a fuel leak at high boost and catch fire

they sell an injector hole tool, it drills, countersinks, and chamfers the hole to 11mm or 14mm injector specs. even buying the tool, the rail, and AN fittings for feeds, it's still cheaper than the LIPP rail.

if i end up building a new intake manifold, ill be ordering parts from these guys.

^^ :) now it just up to the mill's operator to drill them in the correct spot, and weld on the mounting tabs.

Buy it up Sean and lets see how your turns out, then I'll make up my mind if I like it over the LIPP one

Just ordered some -10 extruded fuel rail material.

On the agenda for this week, school work, and try to finish up the engine bay and paint.

As well I think I will have everything here for next weekend to fully assembly my engine assembly, so if I have the engine bay paint done I can drop it in and work on my new cal file to get it running with the E85 and 1600cc injectors.

Got the base of my pressure relief piece machined out today, picking up some more materials tomorrow to make my BBK adapters, and the top piece of my relief.

Will try to get pics up soon.

That is the base to my pressure relief, I am machining out the plug for it tomorrow. Then I will do some setup and pressure testing with different springs. I want blowoff at about 45psi.

Picked up my gaskets from toyota today. Bill came to 167.83 so not too bad, I have not been home yet to see if anything else has arrived in the mail though.

Not too much for progress, but I did finish machining out the hub centric rings for my BBK I am working on.

And it sounds like I will be running a LIPP intake manifold.

Not going to lie I like that idea.

I might also end up selling my turbo setup along with the 4" exhaust system if anyone is interested.

Also looks like I will be dyno tuning my car on raven works dyno in maple grove in december. Easily the most impressive shop in the midwest.
