quake;1227076 said:uhh don't run the car like that with a sump in the front :nono:
williamb82;1228138 said:ok, so the a1000 can be run without the controller box? i was thinking of running it off a ballast resistor and then have a relay set to bypass the resistor for full power to the pump that would be activated by a boost activated switch. would that be alright? or do you guys just run full voltage at all times without issue? i dont want to run dual walbros as if 1 fails i wont really know till the car leans out from lack of fuel.

The 2 pump thing...ding ding ding...we have a winner! This is why I won't run multiple pumps. The other thing is the fact that it's is a pain to drop tank and pull the in tank pumps out.
Front sump? Dang, I would highly suggest NOT to do that. Not only when you drag race but if you decide to hammer it, you will have to worry if you will ean it out.

you need more power then this ?upgradedsupra;1228211 said:My A1000 was through a relay. I will change it now since I run a much more powerful pump. (2345) As I said, when I had the A1000, it worked fine.

The ALL NEW Eliminator features more flow and a new black finish. This continuous duty “street warrior” supports more horsepower in a true street car than any other pump built. Designed for high horsepower street/strip applications, EFI or Carbureted, it features our patent-pending “dual chamber” pumping mechanism.
Fuel Injected Engines:
up to 1900 HP - naturally aspirated
up to 1400 HP - forced air induction
figgie;1228084 said:Oh he can, not an issue unless drag racing where the fuel WANTS to go to the back. During day to day driving, not too bad an issue.
quake;1231191 said:yes a very bad issue, unless he does his driving in reverse.
