So... About to head home armed with about 20 pages of print outs from threads and posts on here, along with articles from Cygnus...

Sam is out right now getting a couple tools that we forgot about.

Am freaking out a bit, but hopefully thanks to SM, this won't be too bad.

Lol!

It took Sam 10 minutes to get the outside packaging off!!! You packed it VERY well!

We haven't taken it out of it's Toyota packaging yet.

HG and Toyota packing? Something sounds funny. Wrong spelling, I think.

Considering the aim is to have the car running in 7 days, I'm very hesitant to just mask up a potentially large problem.

I firstly would like to know what causes that to happen to the water jackets?

Secondly, any of the Aussies lurking in here, how much would it cost to weld it all up, and is it a permanent fix, or is a temporary one?

No.

This was meant to be a quick and lovely just so I could get it to Nationals.

I bought a stock Toyota hg, which is why I was referring to Toyota packaging :p

I have a Titan 2mm sitting here, but who knows what will happen with that.

I am so incredibly frustrated and upset at the moment... I have absolutely no idea when (if ever) this car will be done.

Looks fine.

If you look, you can see the marks from where the gasket was pushed out towards the water jacket, that spot is from the headgasket leaking and will probably clean up fine with a resurfacing.

I should get some macro pics of my bad head in the garage for comparison...
