5th gear. Speedo is inaccurate at that speeds. It is built optimistic.


That is aproximately 126 mph. I remember it indicating about 131.

Gonna have to explain this (my first car was a '78 Trans Am)

'78 T/A came with either a 400 Pontiac, or a 403 Oldsmobile motor (both 6.6L), neither turbo.

The turbo T/A was a turbo 301 (4.9L) single turbo, known to grenade itself over 4500rpm.

Just saying, that's all...

Anywho, my fastest thus far is 152mph according to HP Tuners in my buddy's '00 Camaro SS as I was tuning it :rofl:

140mph in the passenger seat of a buddy's e30 325e. It was unbelievable smooth for an '86, yet it was built that way.
I've done quite a few 120+ runs on the bike (00 Gixxer 750) mainly on back country roads. Also a 150mph run on the highway. It got to 145ish so fast, I began to back out, looked down, thought wth, barely twisted the throttle a little and bam, 150.
That was plenty enough for me.
The Sup has yet to have been pushed, with a working speedo.
