No complaints yet on my current supra.

my last supra was a lost cause when i bought it though. Destroyed subframe, near dead 7m-gte, totally screwed up wireing, alightly bent frame, and a nice bit of rust.

only good part was that i had the yellow euro / jdm foglights installed for some reason. But those went to a friend of mine when it came time to sell that car.

I have a 6 and a half inch hole in each door insert/panel (leather!), really torn up seats, and body wiring thats ULTRA hacked from an alarm system setup that is now gone.

I DID have a grudge against my previous owner a few months ago for some stuff that was wrong with my car, but now it's pretty much awhole 'nother Supra, so I really can't be mad now.

nope... my current car had a MINT burgundy interior and a MINT black exterior w/ no dings or dents. it had/has only 74k original miles. it was COMPLETELY unmodified and had $3900 worth of receipts dating back to 1998 from the Goodyear tire service shops here in this area of florida. the good/bad part about it was the seized motor which was the main bargaining chip which let me pick this car up for $750. i love VIRGINS!

I'm pretty sure my previous owner was a girl, as the center console smells like perfume when you open it. I dont know though, as the car came overseas.

The one thing I hate about the previous owner, the shifter bushings literally fell appart in the transmission (which is common), but instead of fixing it, they just drove it around with a loose shifter for what I can only guess was several years, and in the process really messed up the transmission inside. It's nearly impossible to shift into reverse, and if you do get it in, it grinds every time. 2nd, and 3rd are also very rough to shift into. 1st is very very hard to get into as well, unless the rear wheels are not moving.

On the plus side, I have the original owners manual, as well as copmlete service records for the vehicle (In Japanese).

Needed a new clutch, and had some smoking turbos, but other then that and the tranny, it's in great shape.

I don't know if it was the kid that I bought mine off of or a previous owner before him, but my car was (and still is) beat up:
There is a good sized dent in the passenger side door (all damage done to this car is on that side), the mirror was broke off (only half left, replaced it with a white one), gas door dented in so bad that it won't hardly open, some quarter panel damage, taillight busted, and to top it off, a spun bearing.
Two good things about the car though: Got it for cheap due to the damage, and it was bone stock. It had some 18" enkeis on it that looked like someone got in between to narrow curbs and played pinball (the car being the pinball of course). It's a good thing the kid kept the sawblades cuz that's what i'm rockin right now due to one of the above metioned rims being cracked (no surprize there). And it also came with a pacesetter exhaust and a greddy knock off BOV (both of which will NOT be going on the car). All in all I hate the kid for mistreating the car (and any previous owners before him).

^yeah, mine was driven by my father all 4 seasons like for at least 4 years (stood outside, also in the winter) + like 2 more years with nights in garage, and before that, who knows....
The bottom is pretty shitty now... :(

I haven't figured out everything wrong with my new one yet, but it had bad rk (dk blue '88T, hence the sale), so I've pulled the engine and tranny for a complete rebuild. I've got crap tires, crap mouldings, crap hood shocks, the back inner wheel wells are rusty in spots, clear coat has some flaking here and there, leather seats have some cracks, but all in all, I'm pretty happy since it has all the options I wanted and is a good starting point. (ABS, 5-spd, GTE, Targa, leather, TEMS, no accidents, totally stock, nice aftermarket alarm) Now I just open the hatch and dump money in, then repeat. I figure at least 20K to get it to an "acceptable" level.

most of the other stuff was the dealer not coming through, jackass, last time I do that

Soooooooo much shit i have had to fix from the last owner... My notably... The asshole had all the head bolts torqued to 40lbs and below.

The battery cables looked like there were spliced by a three toed sloth with down syndrome.

The paint is completely shot.

And... The driver side lock bezel was tied on with string... But that just made me laugh. That dude must have been a complete and total mechanical idiot.

I'm sure there were more but thankfully a majority of the issues have been worked out at this point.
