I've really enjoyed following your progress, your work is quite thorough and very impressive. You took on this restoration and rebuild with an approach of enhancing stock components in a way seldom seen in automotive restorations. There is just one thing I can't understand, you said you are sad that the car is now running and not torn apart in your garage? I'm always quite happy when my supra gets out of my shop, which ends up happening a few times per year. So if it is any condolence to you, rest assured as it will probably be back there soon = )

You misunderstood me, I'm sad that I don't have any garage for the supra now, so he stands outside in the snow.

This project is far from over, I still have some stuff to do before I have completed "stage 1" and then I can do as many stages as I like but with driving time in between of course

I might be lucky and will get another spot in the garage where I keep the porsche, and I will even get it next week.....if I'm lucky so keep your fingers crossed, thats what I'm doing

Today I visited my lovely supra
There were a lot of snow on him.
Decided to start the engine and move the car so that I could remove all the snow surrounding it.
To my surprise the left headlight motor started to get signals, so it opened and closed like it should
The left position light did not work which it did the last time I drove it :-/ Hopefully it's just the lamp that needs to be replaced.

I also looked at the front left ABS sensor connection and inside it looked new, so no easy fix for error code 32 and 34.
I checked the resistance, but there was nothing to measure :S so I think I have a broken wire.

This weekend I was about to drive 300 km one way to pick up an engine, but the seller sold it to someone else without telling me first
So no new engine for me to prepare I had even arrange with my boss to work overtime and for that he would lend me a truck so that I could pick up the engine.

Couple of weeks back I drove 670 Km's one way to pick up a tray for the Ute, then turned around and returned the same day!
(guess living in Australia I'm more used to long distances as going out for Indian food Tuesday night was a 250km round trip)

If I drove that far (your 670+670 km round trip) in one way I would be at the Nürburg ring

LET'S DO THE HAPPY DANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today my supra got a new home
It's in the same garage where I got a spot for the porsche.
So now I have one workshop spot and one storage spot there.
So whichever car needs work will be in the work spot.
For now the supra will have that spot so that it will be ready for the summer

Today is the big day! It's time to move the supra to the new home
I was very nervous since it was very slippery outside in the snow.
I had a friend following me just in case something would happend.

When we go to the garage I emptied the trunk from the last boxes of
stuff that I had brought from the old garage and then we took my
supra out for a spin in the snow
It was so much fun!

Now I need to get the supra ready for inspection.

My first workday with the supra in the new garage
The idle was a bit off sometimes so I decided to clean
the IAC valve.
When I re-installed it I used new gaskets which came
with the gasket kit I bought from driftmotion.

One thing I had to take care of to even have a chance to pass
inspection was the windscreen squirters.
One was broken.
In a swedish store called Biltema they have two diffrent set
of universal windscreen squirters, I bought one set of each.
One of the worked without any modification which I already
knew thanks to the swedish supra forum supras.nu.
But I forgot which one and thats why I bought both the sets.
I only installed one squirter in place of the broken one,
will change the other later.
The new one works better than the old stock one.

Today it was time to do something about the paint since it
has been neglected for about 2 years.
I used rubbing, polish and wax on the hood and roof.
That was enough to make me feel happy when I drove of to
work a graveyard shift

Today I decided to clean the air filter since I forgot to put it in a bag
for protection from dust and so on.
I sprayed it down with degreaser first and let it sit for a while.
Then I washed it of with water.
It went from red to white/gray :S I think I need some new filter oil.

I got some hardner for the polyester today so I fiberglassed the antenna hole
in the side piece for the wing.
The hardner was like the ones you use for putty. I have only used liquid hardner
before so this was a little bit of a test.

I think I need to use a little more hardner next time.
Most of it is dry but some parts of it needs to dry just a little more.
I sanded down the top side which is now ready for putty.

As you can see in my pictures, my carpets are very dirty.
So I tried to cleaning them a little. But I need to get some stronger cleaning stuff.
I also started on getting the door trim smooth.

Today I started with removing the front to get a look of how the IC is mounted.
I also removed the diff and the rear half of the exhaust.
As you can see, I have a big leak from the diff so I need to change some seals.
I cleaned the diff, both on the inside and the outside. That diff oil is tough.
