Hey all, I know there's a couple people on here with the 60-1 twin scroll single turbo kit from Driftmotion. My question is, what kind of power were you able to get out of your setup with pump 92 gas? I'd like to get 500 RWHP on pump, but I don't know if my turbo can do that. I have the .70 hot side with twin scroll turbo and manifold, 750cc top feed high impedance injectors, AFPR, Walbro 255 LPH fuel pump, CAI, EBC, 2.5" IC piping with a large FMIC, and 2J machined cams.

I just spoke with Aaron at Driftmotion, he said they've done 527 RWHP on pump, but that was with a standalone, a Walbro 255 lph in-tank fuel pump, an in-line fuel pump, cams, and injectors. So it looks like I'll be getting another fuel pump.

Hmmm, my 1JZ-GTE is currently getting rebuilt. Here are my mods that I have/waiting to put on:

-Driftmotion single turbo kit 60-1, .72 AR
-CP 0.5mm oversized forged pistons
-440cc injectors (stock fuel rail and FPR)
-Brian Crower 264 cams
-Walbro 255 lbh fuel pump
-Brian Crower beefed up springs and retainers
-SAFC II
-manual boost controller
-Full 3 inch exhaust
-Driftmotion 1JZ intercooler kit with 2.5 piping
-HKS SSQV III blow off valve

I know the 440cc, stock fuel pressure regulator, and the the SAFC II are holding my car back, but I really don't have the money anymore. I've blown it all on the junk I just listed. Maybe I'll get an eManage blue later on, but I'd hope to get at least 440 hp at the wheel with this setup.

Sam, I honestly don't think you'll be able to get more than 400 RWHP out of your setup safely. With the 440's and the stock FPR you're really limiting yourself. Remember, without a standalone ECU it's not really safe to run more than 80% duty cycle. That being said, I managed to do 400 RWHP and 347 RWTQ with what I listed above, along with the fuel dampener bypass hose, 440's in the stock rail, and a SAFC NEO.

Thats very high numbers on a 60-1, I'd like to know more details on this.

Expect ~450whp as a normal pumpgas figure.

Shucks. Well then I guess I'll just have to be happy with whatever my engine can muster safely then, haha. I have to draw the line somewhere.

We're not talking about a CT26 turbo 60-1, it's a T4 turbo with a P-trim exhaust wheel. The car had BC cams, Stinger, normal 3" exhaust and intercooler upgrades, and 680cc injectors iirc.

Yea, what boost was this done at? Its a lot of power out of the small 60-1 on pump gas. It must of been a very aggressive setup to achieve that power on pump, and those numbers aren't normal is what I'm saying.

Justin, they are very normal and not inflated. I just installed this turbo on my buddy's car and made 515whp on a dynojet and 520whp on a mustang dyno.

1JZ-GTE bone stock
264 BC cams
Stinger standalone
twin walbro
1000cc injectors
modified china-made manifold with twin-wastegate

I just hit the dyno the other day. I haven't tuned it yet. I just wanted to know what power I was making right now.

stock 1jz motor.
60-1 .70 a/r
fmic
stock 370cc injectors and fpr
Mines Tuned ECU
SAFC NEO
Walbro 255lph pump
93 octane

I made 339.43rwhp at 15 psi. Running really rich.
I have BC 264 to put in. I want to get bigger injectors and an AFPR.
I figured it was fairly good without tuning and stock injectors.
Its nice to know the potential it has with a couple more mods and a good tune. All in due time.

From What the turbo shop's that I've talked to said the 60-1 will get you over 500 hp. The driftmotion 60-1 lets you chose from you choice of turbine housings, .58 .70 .82. I have the .70 And it a nice balance not to laggy and when it wants to go it goes. It's lots of fun. If you want those big numbers you would want to go with the .82 for that top end power. I don't doubt those numbers. I plan on tuning it with in the next month at tuning concept. I let you guys know what it puts down. these are my mods.

T4 60-1,
SAFC fuel controller
Greddy Profec-B spec II boost controller
AEM UEGO wideband
4”x9” AEM Dryflow air filter
3” aluminum intercooler piping
24”x9”x3” intercooler
Denso fuel pump (from TT Mk4)
550cc injectors (from USDM 2JZ)
Tial 38mm wastegate
Super drager exhaust
high flow cat
HKS bov

which powerfc are you using? an actual jzx90 or a converted one from a 2jz?

the reason i'm asking is b/c i'm going to be using one from a 2jz.

also, i would also like to know what injectors
