I'm surprised you didn't shave the emblem off the nose. I wish I could get a smoking deal like you did.
I actually like the 88 Supra emblem. I think its unique and unlike the current toyota emblem, it's not shared with camrys, corollas, etc.

Get a lip! :) then paint to match then your exterior would look 10/10 -1 for rims lol so a good strong 9!
Agreed on both counts, lip and rims! I'll take a nine :)

Nice results. However I recommend only using your PWM circuits to dim your LED's and not run too much resistance to dim them, because you will run the risk of uneven lighting between the arrays/groups of LEDS, as some LEDS may emit more or less lumens at currents too far below their recommended rating.
Thanks for the tip. Would suck to finish everything just to have spotty, uneven lighting.

That windshield moulding clips around backside of glass so when the urethane that is laid down dries...it pretty much locks the molding in place from setting back in place. (I saw a glass guy do it on my supra) You can remove it without removing the windshield but its a lot of work and you have to be creful not the crack the glass. I love the shaved look and I love the color. Remind me of Lexus ASP (Auburn Sky Pearl) You make me wanna go start doing bodywork on my Supra.... Good job!

A few days ago I found a stock '89 Turbo for sale on local craigslist. It was a reliable daily driver and the interior is in great shape. I took the plunge and bought it to swap the engine into my car. Here are some pics...

Naw, I'll probably just part it or sell what's left. It's nice to have an entire cars worth of spare parts!

Noooooooooo, keep the clean cars on the road!

+1

I'd say pop another motor into the freshly painted one and leave the newbie alone..As Poodles said, gotta keep the clean ones alive! As for the bodywork and such, top notch man! With some light or dark gunmetal wheels + polished lip and a nice front spoiler you will have one hell of a sharp car! Gl with the future mods....cheers...

Sweet how's the new motor? I would definitely put that other car back on the road instead of tearing it to pieces

My buddy called about the harness...we went and looked at it and it was really torn up. We ended up just remaking our own. My friend now has the grey shell with plans to build it up again (he's owned nearly a dozen supras over the years), so that should make everyone on here happy :)

I went from owning a '91 to a '90, and this is pretty much why the pre-91 emblem eventually grew on me.

Hate your rims, but very nice work!
