Well I guess my question is are we talking about two different differences? I knew about the ribs being different along with the bigger mains, etc but are you saying these blocks also have thicker cylinder walls, or any year or casting number block for that matter?? I saw IJs pics, but I didnt remember anything mentioned about the cylinder walls.

IIRC the blocks changed around either in mid '89 or mid '90...

I was told the NA blocks changed before that, like 88. Don't know how much thicker the walls are though. Can't find those pics of IJ's either.
I guess nobody wants to talk about the Patrick/Flatlander ordeal???

Nope, I knew about the cranks and I knew about the differences IJ noted just curious if there was something else pertaining to the cylinder walls.
