Hey Buddy!

I had that done a while back, it is now just collecting dust waiting for a buyer.

I just started working for a new company, and god willing I may buy one of these. I was thinking of doing this, or going the route Genna went, which is what i first intended on doing.

That's pimp stuff right there. How do you think this will do to the current issues of BHG's and rod knock in current supra's. Do you think it will minimize them or aggravate them?

bhg is usually poor torque or poor tune. and rod knock is usually poor machine work or poor oil maintance. the crank should have 0 effect either way.

"see" how it affects the powerband?

There are two people that I know of that have been running stroker kit in the poopra for at elast two years if not more.

Myself and adjuster.

the stroker kit becomes a worthless smoke show unless you have traction control to limit power.

If you go .080 you'll need that spare block. Not enought metal for .080. With the right block, .060 over yes I've got that with a stroker.:naughty:

Blackdevilsupra has a block bored.080 over dude.I am not worried. No matter which way I go I'll need to get another block after this build. My only problem rich is that you have no working prototype and I remember what happened to Patrick at flatlander. We will need to discuss details so call me

O.K. I have seen several threads that say .060 is the max you should go and only with a post 89 block.
What happened with Patrick and Flatlander? Problem with a stroker kit?

I will be first to caution you against the .08 OB. That is beyond where you want to go. .06 is pushing it. .08 you will have wall flexing for sure. I will also add with adjusters/patrick ordeal with flatlander. I had forewarned him to let them do all the work but he insisted no. I have never had 1 issue with my motor from the day of install, but my motor was all done by flatlander/outsourced by them to 1 shop.

I am a firm believer of keeping more than 1 chef out of the 7m-gte kitchen as that is asking for trouble.

I don't think a prototype is needed. A welded offset ground 7m crank has been done many times. Every crank done, is a prototype of sorts, as no two are ever to be considered the same. Not the first I have done and won't be the last. I will give you a call later!

What happen with Patrick/Flatlander, please. I ordered most of my rebuild parts from Flatlander and I would like to know if I should be concered about what happened with Patrick/Flatlander. Or can somebody direct me to a rebuild/thread.
Thanks.

No, CP is really easy to get custom size pistons from. You using a late model block to bore that big?

I have been wondering this for a bit now. Have you found the cylinder walls to be thicker on the late model blocks? If so what years exactly? Maybe I missed the thread on this?

I saw the thread concerning the outer ribs. I know that there is a difference between some blocks concerning the outer ribs of the block, but I have 5 blocks, some late and some early and they all are heavier duty concerning the ribs, so I didn't think you could go by year with this and I don't think this is what you are talking about here.

It was a casting number, of which, I can not remember off hand. I have it in my note book at work. IJ had those pictures of the different blocks.
