Well I played around with stupid code 52 for about 6 hours this weekend between checking wires, swapping knock sensors, ect. with no luck  I might have to give in and just get Shaeff's kit and try that.

We also finished the suede on the front door panel inserts. So project suede is finished. Sorry haven’t loaded pics yet, but it turned out dam good. Just the way I wanted it, not too much not too little. I took her out for a quick rip last night ( down to the local pub ) and dam it, I can hear the door handle rod (behind the door panel) rattling around on the passenger side. So I might have to rip off the panel once again.

Also I finally got the Profec A hooked up and working. LOL the problem was I unplugged the valve under the hood. I remember unplugging it since it always "clicks" when on and since I use the radio when I am working on the supra it is always clicking so I unplugged it. Last night on the way to the pub I made a couple pulls to set it, then turned her up to 12 psi or so and wow this car is starting to wake up even with never ending code 52!!! Still lacking the low end power but mid and top end it pulling quiet well. However I think I am getting compressor surge big time. So another item to put on list to check out.

And Sean it is super, super, super quiet even without the cat. Seriously ,there is no noise at all, even all the way up to 6,000 RPM she is whisper quiet. Sorry Emilio, well figure out something. BTW the exhaust tips doesn’t even sit level, there at a about a 20+ degree angle, (and looks stupid as hell) so I’m not sure what is going to take to fix that yet also. Stupid twin tip.

Here are some pics. others were added to post 10.

Recap, suede door panels done and installed. We didn't just put the suede over the old leather rather completely took the insert apart and replaced the leather with suede just the way toyota did 20 years ago. Looks really, really nice. Also installed a different grey door panel that isn't cracked up. Thank you again Emilio!!

Here is the pic of the hks exhaust i was talking about, notice how the tips are not even close to level :( If anyone has had this problem feel free to share how to fix it besides chopping it up and rewelding it.

EDIT: forgot to add in I also reinstalled the gutted cat. Who needs catalytic converters when you live in Minnesota. And she is still super quiet, just the way I like it. I will add a 3" electric cutout in the DP later on, so I can open her up and be loud when I feel the need :evil2:

I will be also be installing the solid motor mounts I made when ever Im not feeling lazy. Withthe exhaust being quiet now, the way I like it, I can hear the intake manifold hitting the shock tower when the motor torques around.

If you look at post 10 you can see that the exhaust piping is tight up to the rear sub frame( in the arch opening that is there). So it cant really go up any higher unless I cut out the sub frame, but I will check it out and see if there is anywhere else it can go up. Thank you for the Idea Poo!!

Well Sean and I just got back from taking her out on a quick rip and she pulls pretty hard with a MAJOR hickup when shifting and code 52 still. Sean even took a couple pulls it.

We threw the G-tech in to see where is it around as is, and it ran a 15.7 at 97.8 MPH :aigo::aigo:. And for all you haters out there on G-tech I have ran mine at Rockfalls raceway and I have the time slip where I ran 13.51 and the G-tech showed 13.49. So it is close enough for me for the street to let me know where I am around. But 97MPH wow you can tell I have a huge hickup and bogging down at mid rpms then pulls hard the rest of the way.

That's what it would run stock... Code 52 means the ECU is pulling timing as it can't adjust the timing on the fly to be below detonation.

There should be a hanger above the muffler and behind the muffler, should have 2 rubber donuts on each...

Both rubber hangers are on.

Sorry the pics are kind of crappy but it is the best I can do laying on the ground in my garage. Both rubber hangers are not streched as I put them on my hand with no pliers or anything. and any one that has put them on before they are hard as hell to strech
Here is the front hanger (towards the front of the car in front of the muffler)

Here is the rear hanger ( above the tips by the rear bumper)

There should be 2 rubber hangers per bracket, they are separated spreading the load and centering the bracket in the middle.

Ok I can try and install the rings on the the other side of the hanger( I have them ) but as you can see from the pic it will be one hell of a strech. It is around 6-8" away from the hanger and dont even know if the rings strech that far. But also it would pull the 3" piping up and towards the passenger side of the car and the piping is already hitting the sub frame ( inside the arch of the opening) so I dont even know it it will go up or twist up anywhere. But tomorrow after work I will take another look at it. It is sleepy time for me. thank you also for the idea, keep them coming :)

What exhaust system do you have? There is supposed to be two rubber rings on each of the rear-most brackets. I don't think putting both rubber rings on the rear-most bracket will do much for you. I believe there should be two hangers on the muffler for the rear-most hanger, one rubber ring per muffler hanger.

Luke, it is the HKS turbo exhaust. I only have one rubber ring for each hanger but I am going to remove it and try some thing new for installing it.

Im going to completely drop down the exhaust (just not the DP). Then first Im going to hang the muffler and tips first, then hand the mid pipe second, then last bolt everything together and see if this way helps out at all. At least this way I can install 2 rings per hanger with out streching the shit out of them :)

So after being in the shop for a few hours...how much would you charge to answer the phones?

So you are frustrated with your workload and having to answer the phones? Was this the intended thread for that post?

Jack, I would add a new number, that is 1-900-supra-sp. Then answer "suprasport install hot line, what can I install for you today". :biglaugh: But Im serious about the 1-900 #, cash in on that.

I could not believe how much SS phone rang on asking simple questions on how to install stuff :aigo: . Maybe direct them to supramania and ask here :evil2:

But since Jack is such a nice guy he still answers the phone and gives step by step directions, 4 different times, some people must have short term memory.

Rob and Sean got to listen to my phones ring for a few hours. The only quite time anymore is when I am on the phone. I can usually count to about 4 before it rings again, it's good for business bad for my sanity...I like being in the shop more

I am thinking we may need to expand soon to take the orders and support over the phone

I go along with that. I want Jack to be in the shop more to help me with most everything. But, I am thinking more along the line of a female about mid 20's that knows her way around cars from inside and out and can give good,////// answers on the phone.

I love the build thread Hijacking lol. I think we can all work something out. There is not a shortage of clueless people out there.
I really want to install and tune a Maft Pro sometime soonish so I can get the feel for one of those. Lately I have been a bit of work with the AEM EMS which is definitely a really nice way to go about for tuning a car.
