I still think your Temp intake pipe is all kinds of junk yard awesome :biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:. Is there a possibility that the EBC might not be the issue?

Have a few for me..

Rob, you need a spool valve on that turbo! Can't wait to try mine out.

Na, not here. plus no fit for a OEM manifold, unless custom made. But there is still plenty to do yet. Im sure at 9-10 lbs of boost the comp turbo is putting out , it is just starting to come to life. It is good enough to drive right now until I find hundo's for the fuel / computer system.

The ceramic ball bearings / this turbo dose have a pretty cool sound. It is hard to explain what it sounds like, but it is awesome. Also I think it is quieter then the ct26!!!! The ct used to make tons of sucking/whistling noise where this one doesn't so much. It has a sound all of its own.

Not so much awesome, that is why I haven posted a pic of it ;) you are to only one that has seen it.

Ya there is always the possibility, it is almost like the EBC isn't getting the pressure reading from the turbo. If anything I need to turn down, to stay away from fuel cut right now.

Yes and no, lol. I always could, I just can't control it, until now. Even after triple checking it I totally forgot all about the vacuum line coming from the intake manifold for boost reference. I must have been having a blond moment.

Well Im in the garage now trying to figure a few things out, like where the hell all of this oil is leaking from :( It isn't from the cooling system, It pretty much looks like the oil pan is leaking   Fucking Jim :nono: cant even make install a oil pan and keep it from leaking for more then 2K miles.

I'll update later today, right now Im trying to find all those tech articles, about rebuilding the CPS, Installing things, write ups, ect. I cant find them in the forums. If any one knows where the hell they went feel free to post.

Well I figured out the EBC, and it is still a PITA to program P2. Out on testing/program wow this turbo is weird. I really need more rpm's. This turbo starts building boost around the 3000 mark and all the way up to the rev limiter she is still building boost. Around 9 lbs or so and 5800 rpms it hits fuel cut. This turbo dose not have the sudden burst of speed, rather the boost comes on smooth, and last long. I cant believe ho hard it is still pulling at 6000 rpms and Im out of computer then  On the ct is has full boost at low rpms (da) and holds around 11 psi (where I set it) This one it dont do that, rather just keeps building and building tell rev limiter.

Also today I replaced the super hard o-ring on the CPS. When removing it I found out my CPS cover doesn't even have a gasket on it!! So time to place a order with toyota soon. Well here are some pics.

Here are a couple quick pics. Since today is pretty nice out I figured I would clean up the garage a little and try to find a home to park the snowmobile for the summer. Im not a fan of leaving them out side. All I know The garage is getting tight with all the motors in it

And my stuffed garage., You would be surprised what you can all if in a 22'X22' area!!!! Push mower, lawn mower, 4 winter tires, tool box, work bench, snowmobile, riding mower, Harley & trailer for the Harley, besides the supra and caddy! And that is what is just on the floor. Later this summer everything again need to be taking out and finish up the sheet rock and prime/paint it.

The tranny dose leak a little, and when clutch time comes I will R&R it to replace the gaskets. And by what I can find, my stupid, god dam, engine build sucks, and can install a oil pan with out making it leak. :nono:

Are those LSx headers I see hanging on the wall? I wonder how well those would fit in my engine bay...

On you OPG did you use that cork gasket or just use straight silicone? I started using some "Right Stuff" with much success with no cork gasket.

I didn't do nothing, Jim Hall my engine builder did all of it. Looking at it It dose look like he did in stall a cork gasket along with some sort black sealant. I even told him NOT to use any gasket on the oil pan, but he still did. But once I noticed it, it was to late, and getting a hold of him is nearly imposable. I have tried to call him for the last 1.5 years, just to get my paper work. O-well.

As of today GOD DAM IT, MOTHER FUCKERS. I got busted by the state patrol speeding right after I passed a car. This is my first speeding ticket in over 7 years too!!!! I jsut dont speed any more because I learned my lesson when I had to sit 7 days in the clink for a speeding ticket.

She also added on a window tint ticket to boot!!!! Well there go another $400 out of the already low bank account. Plus the she cop was just a bitch to me. Come on, be nice, I pulled over even before she turned around, was yes mam, no mam, and still a bitch. Well there goes any supra parts I might of wanted. Well I already crack open a cold beer, time to drink some beers, and do some yard work I guess.

Aaah shitty news - $400 is a hefty ticket. Do you know what % the tint is? I've been thinking about getting some myself, but I don't know if I want to worry about the popo. I know what you mean about Jim Hall being impossible to get a hold of, I have tried to call him for years now, last I communicated with him was last summer, and he just left me in a lurch.

Dude...I dont think I can help with this one... even though I KNOW the cop.:dunno:

I still can't believe you know her. Tell her the next people she pulls over, Just be nice to them, is that so hard to ask? There already stressed because they got pulled over, there going to be paying the ridiculous fine amount(s) so your budgets do keep getting cut, I was pulled over on the side of the road WAITING for you before you even got turned around, there is no reason to have a shit ass attitude right out of the bag. :nono:

Maybe her bf (or gf since she seamed to be a man hater) needs to give her some more or better wiener (pg rating) :biglaugh:

To officer 184:

Thanks for being a bitch and ruining my day. I just finally got a job offer, and was in a awesome mood. All you had to do was be nice with no power trip about the ticket. I have no problem with you giving me the ticket, it's your job and I was in the wrong. Just your attitude that you bring out of you squad car wasn't needed.

Shouldnt a guy w/ a 92 NSX and a Caddy in the garage be able to affor $400 pretty easy?

J/P man ;)

It isn't so much the ticket it the insurance hike I'll be getting

leecheater;1540296 said:
How fast was the ticket for? Do you think a fuzz buster would have helped?

I have tinted windows on the BMW. No issues for the cops, so far

78 in 55, fuzz buster might have helped, she was right, tight, behind a semi and he pulled over to turn off the road and there was the familiar maroon color car and the head lights about 150 feet away.

Do you know what percentage you tint is? All I know both cars now are going in to have the front windows re done at 50%

I also haven't had ANY issues with any cops in the last 7 years. Right now there just out for blood. This is the second ticket in recent time. For those who dont remember I also just got pinched for a window tint ticket in the caddy. I dont even dare drive on 94 any more. Every time there is about 4 people pulled over from Clearwater to St. cloud, or Monticello!!!
