I saw you driving the Supra down 2nd street today - you didn't notice because I was driving the invisible Honda, but the car looked good. :bigthumb:

Well today I swapped in the steering wheel from the 91 Im parting into the 89. I like the updated look plus the I can read the CC buttons. I knew what they did but it is nice having lettering on it, lol. But now with the heavier(air bag) wheel the memory tilt spring dosen't hold up the wheel that good, maybe time to swap the steering wheel springs too ;)

$50 + trip to toyota = No more hatch squeak and happy driver.

I was a little sticked shocked that is was $50 for 6 pieces of rubber but well wort it for not having the hatch squeak all the time.

don't you love Toyota prices.. Should have called Curt Aigner ;)
Yep, love them. They weren't to bad just the little rubber pieces that are attached to the body. They were 13.50 ish each. The others on the hatch were 5.50 ish and the bump stops were like $2. The sides is what killed it and it was at cost for parts store re-sale only ;) It adds up in a hurry.

See post above and below ;) I would rip you a new ass but i think T will do that for you :p
If you find them cheaper shipped to my front door I will buy 2 more sets and sell them for $10 a kit. Just not to you. I will give fig a free set. How dose your hatch sound?

The little air filters are still on from the car show. I put them on since they look better then the PCV system I have been running ;)

thank you. Fig I have the whole ac box here and will just bring the whole 9 yards with me tomorrow and you can pick and chose what you want.

Well took the Sup for a pretty good cruise yearsterday to meet up with Figgie and she ran great. We ran down with the targa off and A/C blasting and was a little to warm for me with the sun beating down on my head. Temp some where around 90 ish. He showed us what he had planned for the 7m and went off to Red Robins we went for some burgers(& beers for me :) yum!).

On the way home I threw the top on and just let the A/C keep me nice and cool for the ride. Coolent temp didn't even hint like she was warm or anything, right at operating temp, perfect. Oil temp stayed around 220 F. (in the block not the pan). All in all about 160 mile round trip. Man this supra is way fun to get out on the open road, she is very much a drivers car :)

Today the mail man dropped off the CF cooling panel. Looks pretty nice. Now I get to find a shelf to put it on for long term storage until I decide If Im going to use it and what I am going to do with my over flow tank. With the FFIC I have it sits up a little higher then norm.

Well to day went on another cruise to visit Kelly and get her all aligned up again. All good except the drivers rear, the bolt for the camber adjust is stuck. Tryed some heat and everything else in the shop to free it but it didnt want to move with out ripping the rubber bushing :( So Im going to check the 91 parts car and see if that one is good, then run back up there some day to re-do that wheel. But the price was right on at $50.

Wile she was up in the air we gave her a once over and found a good size boost leak in one of the IC piping hoses and the center bearing for the drive shaft is now shot. So I gusee a few more parts I can remove form the 91 parts car.

Also it is starting to feel like the front bearings are starting to go, so add another thing to the "to do list"

If there no good, I guess a trip to toyota is inline.

Ya Know like you were saying about the sun beating down on ya with the targa off.. Maybe someday someone will take one of these carbon fiber targas and cut out and refit with dark tinted glass... like the vetts have... would rock on a black car to..

Well a sad update here

I found out the hard way NOT to drive the supra wile being pissed off at the GF. I wasn't think about the front lip being low and pulled in way to fast and SMASH went the drivers side front lip and bumper. I was able to bend the side bumper bracket back so it wasn't bending out(hope the one on the 91 past car is good).

So now I guess time to buy another lip, but I think Im going to look for a OEM JDM lip with the front bake ducts, this way it is plastic and will have a little more give then the fiberglass. Plus I like the way it looks and isn't as lo.
So if you know of one let me know ;)

Here I pushed it back quick but the bumper is a little sprung. Lip is pointing out a little now :(

One good thing came......new sat. nav disk. But my house still isn't on it. Don't know why pioneer cant get there ass in gear an put my development on it. My Caddy has had it on there for the last year. But what ever, I guess I will pick up new ones again next summer.

Lesson learned, lol. But I already have a quote for a new OEM 90-92 turbo R lip spoiler & ducts. WHOO! Im just waiting for Champ. toyota to also get back to me so I can compaire prices. So far the price is very fair. I wish I would have known about this before I got that FG one.
