Its 4:25 am and I have had about 3 hours sleep been working since 9 am yesterday.. Waking up at 8 am in 4 hours to finish up and dyno tune! Just have to put the hood and bumper on tomorrow but Im going to get everything tweaked before hand.. Going to rock no bumper cover to show off the front mount for a day or so :p

This was the first start up, No idle air control valve hooked up and just the AFM stuck on the TB.. Runs much better now that the intercooler and IAC is hooked up..

Well its done! There is one leak at the power steering banjo hose that needs to be fixed but thats it.. I dyno'd it today at 9 lbs boost, pump gas, 10 degree's timing and made 219 WHP 208WTQ

AFR's were tuned to be in the mid 11's under full boost.. Car pulls hard, Real hard.. No detonation at all and is running awesome!

I think I have a loose connection because my Over drive light is flashing.. They say it could be the speed sensor plug that plugs into the trans, It never did it before so wouldn't be surprised if it was just a loose connector that didn't get plugged in all the way .. Anyways will deal with that in the morning!

Ok, So dyno numbers are WAY off due to three things.. Doing the run in 2nd gear (not 1:1 ratio).. Not having enough load to build boost before the run was over.. And the torque converter not being locked up..

What I have done to fix this (Unplug the automatic transmission ECT computer, This allows us to run it in 3rd gear with no kick down when we go WOT

I have also found the pin out on the transmission connector that goes to the torque converter lock up solenoid and wired a external switch to it so we can lock the torque converter at 2500 rpms when the dyno test starts

I also changed my fuel filter today and hooked up the fuel pressure VSV, Going to do the 12V mod so the fuel pump runs at that all the time.. Numbers should be close to 280+ tomorrow

Well I recently went to the Street wars wednesday night drag races and made a few passes.. Untuned (AFR's Rich in the mid 10's) 9 PSI Street tires (slippery Falken Zeix on sawblades) Ran a 13.8 @ 100 mph.. I have a few things on my list to do:

Up the boost to 12 lbs
Retune on dyno (This week) New SAFC Installed (New firmware update from Apexi)
Put 300Zx Rims back on with new Nitto NT555R Drag Radials
Get aftermarket oil pressure gauge
Start making my own Transmission computer (Manual shifting)

I am having problems with it bouncing off rev limiter in 1st gear mainly but sometimes 2nd too and its killing my time. I am going to be making a custom controller so I can shift manually with a up down stepper circuit and relays to activate the trans solenoids/Lock up solenoid.

With the tune, 12 PSI and drag radials and able to actually shift it, it should be capable of a sub 13 sec pass..

Look forward to updates and dyno graphs! Should be able to squeeze 300 HP out of it

I hate those leaks on the 7M. It is the reason why I bypass all the coolant lines to the ISCV and throttle body and just loop the line coming around the block to the port on the manifold. Less lines always means less leaks.

The leak was the freeze plug, rusted through.. I replaced the freeze plug today was able to get it in by just pulling the battery and alternator out.. The seals in my turbo decided to go (225,000 miles on it) So the car is all apart again..

I picked up a Automatic GTE throttle body and bracket so I can hook my line pressure cable up how its supposed to be.. I was having problems with the valve covers leaking so ordered new gaskets and rubber bolt washers. Got all new turbo gaskets on the way as well as a new CT26 that was recently rebuilt that I bought off another member on here..

I have not yet received my SAFC Neo back from Apexi yet, but they told me they shipped it out on friday ( I don't believe it though because they BS'd me for a week)

I decided to re paint my valve covers Semi gloss black ceramic because when I was doing a fuel pressure check fuel sprayed everywhere and made the old paint turn kind of brown lol

I am also going to modify the lower intercooler piping a little bit for some better clearance as well, so ill have my brother tig weld up some pipes..

Ordered two glowshift gauges (same as prosport) Water temp and Oil pressure and also a Lotek daul pillar pod in gray to match my interior..

Its been a long week and my paypal account is empty again lol

Re did the turbo oil feed line as it has a small leak.. Waiting on the new pressure sending unit for my new gauge's..

Today I was installing the new throttle body and adjusting the line pressure cable for the A/T's when it got stuck in the full position.. I started to wiggle it and push slightly on it and it popped off the cam inside the transmission.. fuck.. So I pulled the pan off the transmission and sure enough the cable came out of place, so I put it back in, I replaced the filter and gasket as the filter was quite dirty.. :/ Cleaned the pan and magnets and put it all back together

Got the turbo today and installed it, Finished up everything pertaining to the engine, Started it up and test drove it.. 5 min into the test drive I was going around a corner and punched it, spun in 1st as normal and a little in 2nd then started getting sideways and poring smoke out in 2nd.. I let off, My dad was in the car with me and said there was fluid on the ground and I was making a trail.. Already 40 feet long.. lol I killed the motor right away because the first thing I though was oil, pulled over and got out to find coolant everywhere.. That freeze plug I just put in had blown out.. After reading up on here, dorman freeze plugs are a big nono and common for them to blow out due to their slightly smaller size.. So I pulled the alternator off and battery out and replaced it with a rubber expandable one which will be fine.. In vegas it doesn't get that cold often lol

End of the day 4:20 am car drives good and I notice it takes a lot less time for it to engage into gear and shifts are firmer! That filter really made a big difference! Pulls hard with the new turbo and cant wait to up the boost a little and tune it.. I don't know maybe ill just tune it on what its at now.. 8-9lbs
