Yes, i made the exh. manifold out of 304 stainless, as well as the collector. The head flange and collector flange are mild, to keep warpage down. The disty is ditched in favor of a COP setup. As for the downpipe, it might look alittle decieving in the pics, but there is room for the 4" piping to squeek by!

No, its a powerglide in the picture, but i decieded to put a th400 in the car instead. There is still alot of work, but its slowly finally starting to come together!

Mad props. Your certainly on your way with this setup. I assume your going to do a bit more welding on the manifolds, and probably dip em in some sort of coating yes?

Yes, the manifold is only tacked together. It still needs to be finished welded, and the dual wastegates setup. Im waiting to do the gates untill after the header is completly welded, because im anticipating it to warp/move alittle once its welded.

Ill probably run the manifold for a year to make sure everything is leak free, and that i wont have any issues of it cracking. Then ill have it ceramic coated,.

damn this will be ridiculous.

given the TH400 i'm assuming this is going to be a drag car or street/strip car. given that bigass turbo and the associated lag (what A/R is it?) do you plan on using some kind of 2-step?

what are you doing for engine management? AEM EMS?

The turbine has a .96 housing on it. The car is being built for the street/strip, and i'll be using a direct port nitrous setup to spool it on the trans brake. Depending on how bad the lag is on the street, i might spray a small shot to get the turbo moving, then have it shut off. Car will be run off an aem.

^^^ Bingo... I machined my adjustable cam gears to accept magnets, then we;ll be using a hall sensor off the back cam gear cover. DaveH came up with this awhile back and it seems to be working very well for him.

a .96 ar will be laggy as all hell on the street, especially on an 88mm turbo. what kind of injectors/fuel system will you run? and when you say AEM do you mean EMS or FIC?

It's nice seeing a local car get built properly. The previous owner to the car was douche (not Hams)

Can't wait to see this bad boy out next summer to get my doors blown off. :)
