The 9.4x car from Besttrans, you know, the one from Pinks "only" had a T76. I don't think that turbo can hit 1000 on the 7M. I could be wrong. Your goal seems possible.
There is a guy on SF right now running an almost identical set-up in an mk4. He made 950 whp and did an 8.46, so it gives me hope, if I can lay the power to the ground I should be ok.
Sorry I havnt updated this thread in a while. We have been having non-stop transmission issues. Got the trans rebuilt and put an ultrabell on, now the trans will not line up with the crank centerline. If its not one thing its another.

Transmission has to come back out of the car again, after doing some testing, it has low line pressure in 3rd and reverse.... Im getting really good at pulling this trans.

I forgot that you had bought the old gauge setup! You should throw some pics up in here if you have some time. Id love to see what they look like all lit up. I never had them wired into the car when I had them!
