D ... There will be several combinations of engines run and tested with the ITB's. Low comp. 6M NA will be first. Stock 7mge will probably be next. After that, probably a TO4'd 7mgte.

AJ's, The Maft Pro option running SD is definatley on my mind.

Junkie, is it going to be worth the cost, considering that all 3 will require different length ITB setups?

You might be better off (from a financial standpoint) to built one that is the average of the three, possibly weighted to the target markets...

OH MY GOD. I sound like a fucking beancounter @ GM. :3d_frown:

Differing lengths have no effect on cost of construction. Modular design, intentionaly. The ITB's also give us adjustability straight from the manufacturer.

So were we at on this? Yes, no, maybe.

We have the first set in our hands. I'll be installing them over the next week + as time allows, onto the test mule 6m.

I'm fortunate enough to have a test fit/start car, that can be down long enough for initial work. Then, even though it's more work, the parts will be swapped to a recently dyno''d car, finish tuned, and the car re-dyno'd.

I/we appreciate the interest/enthusiasm, and will update as progress is made.

If you're interested in actually putting them into casting production it will need a plenum. That will benefit all parties, can be used with other stock hardware with the VAM, and will definetly please the GTE crowd, MAFT becomes a very valuable option for the N/A crowd at this point as well. Move the chosen AFM up to the plenum inlet as well for N/A.

AJ's, understand the not being used to saying 6 ;) I have issues with saying 7, and not adding the T. :D

ITB to manifold fitment is almost done, I actualy got to personaly fondle the parts yesterday finaly.

ECU is in my hands, so I can adapt a harness to it, or just build one.

I don't worry about the "T" anyway.:sarcasm:

Sound's good, wouldn't mind "fondleing" some new parts myself:biglaugh:

Any pics yet?

LOL, Someone has pics, I don't, my camera is dead, haven't seen the charger for it in 6+ weeks :(

Kenny should have the ITB's and manifold joined by now. I need to call and confirm.

Since I got the ECU last week, I have the harness about 1/2 done.

I just don't remember who had their cameras out, during the little get together at my place last week :biglaugh:

I should have some time again today. But, do I spend it on this project, try to get an engine in another car, or finish a swap harness for 7mgte/83 for a customer ..... and I'll be messing with Kylefoto's electrical gremlins this afternoon.

Previous posts said group buys are a hassle, so I don't think so.

Still waiting to hear of any progress with any of this???
