the Z06 forum guys have said the fastest stock Z06times are

11.8-12 seconds ~ at 120mph ~

And I told you that I saw faster times, and OneJoeZee proved that...

(Thanks Joe for finding that link. BANKAI!)

The guys saying that the fastest Z06 times are 11.8-12.0 ...

Those are C5 Z06's!

C6 Z06's have gone 10.8@130 100% Stock on Runflat tires!

With Drag Radials they go mid 10s.

That whole "Z06 guys say this" thing reminds me of how some S2000 drivers run high 14s-high 15s stock when they can run high 13s stock :)

If you hook up you should beat a zo6 easy, If you just wanted to run pum gas you will need water meth injection. I have it on my car it works great. It allows for a much more aggressive fule map.

The ZR1 is like, 300 lbs heavier than the Z06. :(
I noticed that too. Pretty gay right?

Not to mention some of the other less attractive features like the see-through hood.:nono:

I think I'd stick with the Z06.

i would think after a while that any material is going to start to yellow or gain a non-clear color

your friend should have bought the MKIV... about half the price and the carbon fiber roof wont de-laminate from the skeleton either.

just make sure you hook up and try not to break your rear subframe.

IMO, 100 horsepower and whatever amount of torque added isn't enough to offset 300 lbs of weight, especially considering the fact that more power means that traction might be harder to get. That, and well...the hood is ridiculously lame cause you can see through plastic stuff.

C6 Z06 FTW!!!!!

Oh wait, it's carbon fiber but you can see through it and it reveals the beautiful PLASTIC engine bay :)

I dont know if anyone knows this, but isnt every 100 lbs of of weight takes a tenth off of you 1/4 mile time?
