I SCRAPED the OLD adhesive foam off for quite awhile on a hot day and then CLEANED, CLEANED, CLEANED the trench and strip with shop towels and alcohol. Application was on a VERY warm 88degree? day and seems to be holding up nicely so far... (I took care to "align" the TOP notch to the TOP of the trench... as there is some "play" from TOP to BOTTOM and you can end up with a "wiggly" trim if you aren't careful.)

Very good advice. I agree is very important to line them up correctly. Once the tape is on, is a pain to remove.
boosted supra said:Fantastic work, this is by far the best rebuild I have ever seen. You must really love the MK3 Supra, I envy you. It's a shame you won't be done for the NE2K7, would've loved to meet you. Take care of that car!!
Thank you and yes!!! Although I love all Supras, MKIIIs & MKIVs are my favorites. I do not care how much they are worth. I'll still set it up they way I want it. I just hope it never gets as expensive as your car. 70K????? :1zhelp: You sir have an amazing car!!!! I hope I get to see it this time around.
I will definitely be at NE2K7, just the car won't be. Hope to see you there since you missed last year. As usual, I'll be wearing my supra gear :biglaugh:
This time around my wife and daughter will be with me with our Supraholics.com hats :biglaugh:
I was told this year I would be able to bring a grill, so I might bring it and offer free hot dogs and drinks as last year. Last year I had to throw away almost 100 Nathan's hot dogs I had for the guys because they didn't let me setup the grill. At least the effort was worth it as the water kept most guys cooled :biglaugh:
