Yep, you need to bolt it up to the flywheel. If you notice, the center hub can be slid around, once you bolt it up, it will be fine.

Sorry, it's way below the AFM. Blue white wire is the bottom wire, under the white wire with the label "B-L" It has it's own sheath and cover, so it doesn't look like it's part of the afm. as for the two brown wires, do I just connect them both to the E2 wire from the afm connector?

I took off the clutch today on my 87 turbo, and noticed that one of the flywheel guides were bent out of shape. Are these replaceable or do I need a new flywheel?

So while inspecting and changing the timing belt, I find the oil pump puley has a mark on it, painted on. Just to satisfy my curiosity, does the oil pump need to be aligned in anyway? Or does it not matter?

I agree, just disabling the starter doesn't do much, thieves can still pushstart it if they're desperate.
