Glocks are solid. It just depends on how it fits in your hand. You will still need to learn how to shoot it because all pistols are slightly different.
Super clean build man. Keep it up.
I'm wondering about your exhaust. I really like the way it sounds based on the video clips on YouTube so I am considering it for my car. I checked the HKS site and they don't list it for the MKIII. Do you have the part number?
I did a quick Google search for some reviews on JustSuspension.com and saw some pretty low ratings. If anyone ends up ordering from them, please let us know how it goes.
Then you are already a step ahead of me. I am just an IT guy that installs stuff. These android phones dam near do everything. You might as well make them monitor your car also. :crazy1:
Yes, it's possible. You just need to get the two devices to talk to each other. That requires knowledge to write software.
Here is another analogy...
When you buy a new printer and just plug it into you PC, it probably won't work. You would need to install a driver. A driver is software...
Like GrimJack says, once you connect them, you still have to get them to "talk" to each other. That is the "fun" part. You'll need to know how to write up some code. As for the rooted Android, all that means is you have given yourself unrestricted access. For example, if you have ever worked...
Check the Maft pro info. As with most systems, it should tell you what is required to interface with it.
I will say no. I don't think the Android operating system is compatible. No one has written anything for this type of interface (that I know of).
Dave, great work so far. I'm getting ready to start my build also. I hope to start the major stuff towards the fall season this year. In the meantime, I'll work on things like the gauge lights. Actually, a new friend will come work on them this coming Monday in Sacramento. Two new friends to...
I say don't get anything that has been touched by Attarco. They are a production rebuild house and don't seem to know much about import motors. I got a 7M rebuild from them and found that they didn't keep the front plate on when they resurfaced the block. That means another BHG.
Terminals dirty was the reason for no codes when jumping. So now, in addition to the code 52 that I always had, I now have a 24 and a 31 (mass air sensor). This really sux ass. Not sure what happened but the resistance measurements are way out of spec. Anybody have a working unit?
My starter went out so I changed it. I also checked the knock sensors while I was down there, cleaned my K&N filter, and checked the turbo fan. All was good or seemed good. I bolted everything back up and now it bogs and stutters. I got an engine check light but when I jump the terminals, it...
No opinions? Well the new knocks were the wrong ones anyways. I should have opened the box before leaving the store. Maybe it just means that the ones I have are good. I put them back in and I'm returning the ones I bought tomorrow. Hopefully, it was just a loose knock causing the the code...
