i know enough about programming to understand the "driver concept" lol.... i just dont know enough about the android os to know if it will accept windows programs .... and i dont know if the maft software is written in java (the script that android is written in)

lol or maybe i could get enough people to want it that maft or someone on fullthrottle would write a program for us:) that would make things easy

Then you are already a step ahead of me. I am just an IT guy that installs stuff. These android phones dam near do everything. You might as well make them monitor your car also. :crazy1:

Well if your just wanting to drop the windows software on the phone it wont work. You will have to port it to work with android. Which is difficult. And also the driver to communicate the android device to the maft pro. Google android sdk and get to learning how it works. Also learn adb commands

Jack is a good guy and I actually like working with them i have no complaints he gives regular updates
On the status of parts I order and responds right away to my emails .... the only reason they get a bad rap
Is because of impatient jerks who want custom parts they order today to get to them yesterday...imo:)

one person having a complaint maybe. Multiple people over a large time span on several forums etc.. I'd be looking at the common denominator...

head over to tuner pro's website. Thats the interface with the maft to pc. Look at the requirements.. bob at fullthrottletech is the designer of the maft stuff. He has given the code out before (to some extent) and thats where I'd start. But unless you can code (judging from your lack of understanding I'd guess no) your in for a long headache.

Edit: saw you said you have experience with this stuff, cool. Your still going to want to start with tuner pro. Thats what the maft was specifically designed to interface with.

Wow I didnt realize how in depth this stuff was....after installing the maft I can now admit that the program is way over my head...
