Glock 22 should i buy it?

My buddy is offering me his Glock 22 (2nd Gen), 2 extra clips and a box of ammo for it, all for $300. he wants to put that money towards a G19. those that have used a G22 (2nd Gen) any advice, reviews pro's cons? i think it's an amazing price, but like to get some first hand experience from a non biased source.

My old neighbor had one and I shot it at a range once. It felt pretty nice and It was pretty easy to handle. Not too familar with prices lol, BUT from my expierience I liked it. It felt like something I'd buy if I could own one. Oh well, 2 more years..

I have a 4th gen g22 and i love it....shoots well and definitely reliable..never had an issue with it. For that price i think its worth it. Also i may be wrong but do the 2nd gen 22 have 10round mags?

I also have a g39 so im definitely a glock fan.

Glocks are solid. It just depends on how it fits in your hand. You will still need to learn how to shoot it because all pistols are slightly different.

My Daily carry is a Gen 3 Glock 22, love the gun especially once the new was worn off.
the only major difference i can think of is the gen 3 has the tac rail where the gen 2 does not.
$300 bucks I would buy it for sure.

$300? Shit that's cheap for a decent Glock. I can't remember if the Glock I used was a 22 or a 19. Either way, it was a .40 and handled much better than my Sig p239 .40 at the time. I've been a fan of other pistols more than the Glocks, but for $300 I dont think you can go wrong.

It's the only rtf I have seen and the rtf is my favorite by far....
It only had about 300 rounds through it so I should have said it had been broke in

I'd personally get a sig, H&K, or a 1911... not too fond of glocks... but if it feels right, go for it!

It's porcelain, can't be seen on airport x-ray machines, and cost more than I make in a month right?

22 rtfs go for about $500 new. I've even seen them for around $450. Not that I'd ever own a Block...

wow this thread took off a bit. I left I small detail out... the gun was for my Fiance. i didn't get the gun after all... I had money in hand, had the girlfriend hold it and she said it was too big for her hands... we're going to be looking for something more compact like a .380.

Go to a range where they rent and let her shoot several types. Let her choose. If she's going to be carrying don't discount the S&W J frame.

Btw I see AZ licenses are no longer honored in Nevada as of March 1. I was wondering how long it'd take them to figure that one out.
