    thats good cuz i have a 1j HG anyway. still no luck finding a 2j piston :3d_frown:. i was also thinking of upgrading my injectors, are 440's drop in or do i need a 2j map?????

    ok got the water neck covered and got the block to the machine shop today looks like it spun a bearing at some point in it's life, my machinist said it wasn't that bad. is there anything else i should get done while the block it there, don't have the funds for pistons and robs or boring it out...

    ya i have this code to engine runs fine gonna replace the sensor this winter. im gonna try using 1mz (camry) cam sensor cuz looks, mounts, and has the same plug lol.

    ok so had my 1j going for a month now running good, pulling hard and getting me in trouble :evil2: . however ever time i let it cool (2 min) after driving it starts to smoke (burn oil) like crazy :1zhelp: . i am gonna try going 10w 40 next week see if that helps and other ideas? thanks

    lol ok so i was testing for spark came up good i was about to check for compression when i saw a brown wire sticking out of number 1 injector :aigo: . that pretty must fixed it now i know what i 1j is supposed to sound like and move :evil2: . im gonna check to make sure compression is still good...

    compression reads 130 on the mark. i swaped out ignitor 3 for 1 and same deal then i tried swaping the plug and again same thing. i also check for voltage at all ignitor connectors all have just below 14v. any ideas? how can i check for spark?

    hey guys i've looked around but cant find anything on code 13. i think i has something to do with my cam sensor. also i get alot of white smoke at cold start but after i drive it for a bit it goes away then if i let it sit it comes back, stock twin? i get fuel cut at 190 that normal? Thank you
