What I don't get is why they put a $12k (brand new) economy car agaist a $35Kish (brand new) Muscle car... Imagine a mkIv ($35Kish brand new) with the same budget that guy had on his TA for A/M parts. That would be a hell of an episode, even with the TA on the bottle.

I know everyone has covered max width tires on the mk3, but Im wondering if when the car is dropped about 1.5 inch, does it have an effect on the max width without rubbing? Im looking at a set of 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5 rears with a +35 offset, but could I run 9.5 all around without rubbing...

Now that's the kind of thing I was hoping to find out on here! I dug around down there, and sure enough, it was loose. It wasn't staying together well, so I wrapped some electrical tape around the connector. Works like a champ! Thanks!

This would be useful if it was just the switch... when it doesnt work, it doesnt work on both sides. That doesnt sound like dirty contacts to me... and besides I srayed some contact cleaner (the stuff we use on the pc's at work) under the switches. If it was that, the cleaner should have made...

hooray for stupid mistakes... the blue/red wire i cut was from the speed control... CrAp. I mistook the speed control for the theft deterent module. Damn, I hope I can reconnect that wire. :(
