You guys got me worried. My 1j has been sitting for a while. When I first got it I put a little oil in each cylinder. I got to get the valve covers and oil pan off and give everything a nice coat of oil to keep it fresh. Who knows how long it sat at the place it bought it from.

Thats what I'm hoping for. I didn't even realize that I might only have to replace some shims. Does anyone know the stock duration. I'm trying to figure out if they will be able to take them to 264 degrees without welding.
