Only get it with the expectation that the first thing you'll do is take apart the head and inspect/fix it. Oil showing up in the coolant means there is probably a good chance coolant is getting in the oil. Not good. I would expect a BHG and/or rod knock from that vehicle...

How freely is the turbo supposed to spin? I spun it with my finger and it made about two revolutions. I could definitely feel resistance when rotating it.

There was a wreck in Salem on I-5 on Monday. I was driving from Eugene to Beaverton and it took at least an extra half hour due to the traffic jam caused by the accident. Of course, after we get past the accident traffic speeds up again with people doing 80-90 mph...

So we took studduck's Supra out driving and we were boosting about 5-6 psi in each gear. The turbo sounds fine when it spools. We did notice the clutch was slipping however. The clutch slipping wouldn't affect boost though, right? When revving in neutral the boost gauge doesn't register...
