yeah i already threw out the j tube, but now i am running a 280zx turbo FPR and my pressure is nice and good now, its ID was about 1/4" while the inside of the supra FPR looked like 1/8" or so.

i am having troubles with my fuel pressure. it is right around 60psi at idle. im thinking that it's because diameter of the passages of stock FPR cant return enough fuel to the return line, and thats why im getting about 60psi of pressure. it might be fine with a stock pump but with the walbro...

yea i'm just about finished with my 7m swap, but if i knew i would be in the financial situation i am now when i started this swap i would have gone with a 1jz. either way, DOHC in a z, the way it was meant to be.
in our physics club a cal poly graduate came to talk. she got a MS in ME and said the first thing they made you take when you got to college was a welding class and machine shop. that pretty much did it for me im making it my goal to get into that college.
if you dont want hands on engineering then pick berkely. if you do then cal poly i've been hearing that CSU's are generaly more hands on in the learning expirence then UC's. my pick would be

z's ended being L6 with the 280zx, the simplest damn most rock solid engine ever. then in 84 when they went to the 300zx they went to the vg30e a sohc v6. then when the second gen 300zx went to the vg30de which is a dohc v6.

that large flat nut that you can screw in and out. i thought it might control the tension on the mount but i couldn't verify this. also i'm new to supras, so are there any aftermarket mounts using stiffer rubber, id prefer not to go solid mount.
