Problem with most VGT turbo's off diesel's they are made to withstand the EGT's of a gas engine. There are quiet a few moving parts in the back of a vgt turbo.
I was just questioning the rear housing size thats all, i never said it wouldn't spool.
Yeh, thats all well and good. But how big of a displacement is your 'truck'?
It also depends on how big of a rear housing we are talking on this turbo.
As i said in my previous post, anything over 1.0a/r rear housing is starting to get seriously laggy
if its bigger then a 1.15a/r rear houisng, its going to take forever to spool. Trust me personal experience. A 1.15 rear housing makes about 10psi of boost by 5000rpm
Yeh its the Ebay IC kit with two extra outlets welded on for the bov's.
I still have to fix my crank-case vent setup, but i need to make up a new intake pipe at work. But i want to wait a little longer till i get my new turbo so i dont have to make one twice.
(sorry for Hijack)
have you tried reverting back to the stock setup just to rule the bosch valve out?
If thats the only thing you have changed and its doing it now it has to be something related to it.
When i put mine on one was venting to atmo though a torn hose and that was causing what you are describing...
I would just say screw it and sell it as N/A.
It going to be to much stuffing around to turbo it, where yo could just sell it. and Sell the GTE stuff off and finish the other car.
