Lol, I TRIED to get one from them, and they told me they didn't have any. :(
Fortunately, there's like 4 companies in Calgary alone that deal with JDM motors.
Yeah, I can do that. There's a really easy way to tell too: MT-90 does NOT contain any sulfur. Seeing as how you're going to be taking your shifter out to install the marlin crawler bushings anyways, if you notice it stinks, it's not MT-90.
Yeah, Mopac. I think it's the only place around here...
Best transmission fluid ever. I can't believe how much of a difference it made in my transmission. Best 40 bucks I ever spent. I can actually shift into reverse now, and don't miss 1-2 any more.
Anyone not running Redline MT-90 in your transmission, just do it already.
not necessarily. I could run my 800cc injectors almost wide open on my stock pump, making 400whp. No matter what the pressure, the pump simply could not flow enough fuel.
Chinaman used to sell a y-pipe/dp combo, which included a pair of 2.5" downpipes off of the turbos, collecting into a 3" downpipe. Had plugs for stock o2, and wideband. I believe he sells them exclusively through 935 motorsports now. They're a very good upgrade to stock twins, if you have the...
It's an 8ga wire, and yes, it goes to the fusable link, then on to the battery to charge it.
On a stock 1JZ, the wire is actually part of the wiring harness. It's a large light blueish wire going from the alt, into the cabin, then back out to the fuse block.
yeah, it's basically the only way. You don't have to weld it to the turbo though. I have a bend in the pipe coming off the turbo. Granted the heat from the exhaust cooks the silicone coupler on the turbo. I'm going to weld on the 90 eventually.
I paid a hair over $8k to purchase, and ship a MINT (except for some seat damage, which has since been fixed) JZA70 TT-R. That's including all taxes, and duty once it was over here too. The only thing it needed to pass safety was a new rear wiper arm ($3 at the junkyard), and new front brakes...
I have a picture of a MKIII on my cell phone with 255s on MKIII 5 spokes. it's such a massively bulged tire, you're not getting any more rubber on the road than a 245, maybe even a 235.
It DOES look like you're running some SERIOUS rubber on your car with that much of a bulge though ;)
