I just took apart my '89 7m-gte. i noticed that the bearing for the main caps 1 & 7 were wore badly. From what I have learned these are always the two bearing that wear the most, there is more considerable weight on the ends, and vibration for the flywheel, and harmonic balancer. Thank guys.

Mike do you really need a JDM ecu, I take it you're planning on removing the egr system?

What I am saying is I do not have a JDM ecu. A friend of mine does though. He paid almost 300.00 for it, and he tells me he wanted it so he could eliminate the erg system. Anyhow that is all I have to say.

Ask the guys on here, and we'll see I have a friend who has a JDM ecu with a JDM 7m-Gte and he goes well over that.

These cars DO NOT HAVE SPEED limiters.. Iv got mine well over what your numbers are.

Yes. That would cost a decent amount of money. Lucky for people wanting to change the stock one, ATI does make one. I do not think I have seen another brand yet. I can get one for my 2jz I am getting as well, they make them for a variety of different cars.
