Nice job Matt, got a hold on those WRX's. I'm surprised to see a SRT-4 that fast, he must have it setup well.

    coilover set up

The bad is also that you have so much adjustability. It has been found that adjustments on many shocks are not repeatable, uniform or even in the intended direction at times. I think it takes a trained feel to notice damping being off from corner to corner but it would probably make quite a...

Thanks starscream, I'm gunning for him but he's got a lot of car to tap into. I've been thinking about coilovers for a while, just haven't found a setup I like that I can afford. Might put a something together using Bilstein's sleeveover kit. As far as brakes, no fade for auto-x really and...

Here's a new vid and another best finish to date, 15th this time. I'm slowly climbing but there's some fast guys (The class D winner is a multi-time National Solo winner/EVO school instructor/kart instructor, an amazing driver.) http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8958558426424743600...

For the 503rd time I'm going to agree with Adam. They're ok but when you get into the stiffer range it can be a little abrupt. Too soft in the first range which rides good but is where the suspension does alot of it's movement. I'm still using them though until I can put together a good setup...

Most memorable moment in your SUPRA.

1st: The day it was towed home after 4 shops in town couldn't get her started and we had her purring within 30 minutes of ownership ( 96') 2nd: Outbraking an Integra and GTI and the end of the front straight at Summit (06')

All in due time. I ran on crappy tires for a year until I swapped to these 2 events ago. I think it's one reason I'm able to get more out of them than the guys going right to the best tires.

    supras+handling=crap what have you done/can u do

Hot dam, someone on here has also read DG's info on good competition shocks, now where do we get a Bilstein setup made? I've been trying to do that for a while. You've certainly got to make relative comparisons, it's not a 2200lb. car, the wheels on that MR2 are big for the weight, short...

Here's the newest vid from Sunday's event: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1805977597501513956 16th of 70 raw time, 13 of those folks ahead of me were on R' comps so not bad (my 2nd event on Azenis-street tires)

    supra good in circuit racing?

I think you asked this on SF too. There's lots of factors. Cost wise, go with the Civic, it's less abusive on tires, brakes and suspension (much lighter) and parts are relatively cheap. Plus someone at the track will likely have a replacement part (good luck finding another Supra at a track)...

Here's a pic from this weekend, I should have a vid ready and my best result to date as soon as they're finalized (the Supra was angry and ready to run yesterday, ran similar time to the BSP Sti's, I'm not on R's)

It's alot of fun but to really be competitive you might want to get the WRX back. Decent drivers I do ok against but the good ones walk all over me, AWD, -400lbs., + 14 years technology is tough to compete with :)

How to: MAFT Pro Timing Monitor

Thanks for clarifying that. I'll be sure to get the timing monitor working before removing much fuel since that map is already advanced. Brian

How to: MAFT Pro Timing Monitor

Doc, does removing fuel in Speed density alter timing like it does with AFC controls? Just wanted to make sure I'm safe since I'll be adjusting on the Techtom map.

Don't need alot for a smaller course like this (helps due to the big elevation changes though) but on a normal/big roadcourse you can't have too much (within reason, don't want a lag setup that will only make power midway through the straight. Seat time is the best upgrade, tires make a huge...

    AutoX Set up

What's understeer? ;) I have fought with oversteer for a long time, very tailhappy when I first put the bushings in. I've finally gotten it to where she'll push a little and power oversteer is still easily brought on. Btw, fuel injection is unrestricted in SP classes, so you can run larger...

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5793622125058894658 Here's a vid from a small roadcourse event (1.1 mi., cold laps) last weekend. I drove poorly (wasn't pushing the car) but had a pretty good line. I'll put some more from auto-xes if anyone's interested since I drive completely...
