I was responding mostly to tlo86, who said the Power Enterprise injectors looked "shady". They're not shady, they are a quality part. They're made by the same manufacturer that makes Toyota's OEM injectors.
The distributor I bought them from even flow tested them for me to prove they were up...

SH = high impedance. I run the 800cc injectors myself. They're rebranded Densos.
T88 is OLD tech.
Do yourself a huge favor, and get a turbo atleast designesd around a GT turbo. You'll save hundreds of RPM in spool, maybe more. A T88 is too laggy for its own good.
I know for a fact there's a T88 1JZ on this forum. You should ask him now big his power band is(nt)
Pressure plates hold power.
Clutches hold abuse.
Going with something like a 3 puck is only reducing the friction area of the clutch. The only reason you would want this is if it was a material that works better at higher temperatures. I would highly suggest that if you want something to...
From a performance point of view, you're limited by top-end flow. More lift/duration, and/or bigger valves.
From a mechanical point of view, you're going to start floating valves in the upper 7k, especially if you're running higher boost. Stiffer springs are a must. It would be a good idea to...
I see the physics of increasing the runner length, and shifting the powerband, but if anything, making it longer is going to shift your powerband lower, giving you LESS peak hp.
I think that there are WAY to many variables on most consumer engines to warrant a 1/4" increase in runner length...
Here's a picture from westcan Suprafest last year, minutes before I seized my 1JZ:
The intercooler goes up about another 4" above what can be seen in the opening.
I don't have any pictures of my LC-1 installed, as I only ran it for a few weeks before upgrading.
Look at the back of my engine bay, the solid vacuum line for the brake booster, I zip-tied it onto there. Then, I ran the cable through the grommet for the throttle cable. Worked great.
1. Get a 1JZ gasket kit from champion toyota.
2. yes, head studs are the same
3. you have all the sensors you need on your 1JZ.
4. yes, mounts fit
5. there's talk about oil passages not lining up, but as long as you use a 1JZ head gasket, it's really not an issue.
If you're looking at a GE...
285/40 in the back, 255/45 in the front
You can't go much larger in the back than this. 295, MAYBE 305, but on a 9.5" wheel, you're really not increasing your contact patch any.
As for the front, 255 is really about the limit of what I would run on the 8" wheel. My turning radius...
