It has tons of torque off the line but after 3000 rpm it gets a bit weak. I had expected it to be more in line with my 88 without boost. I could burn tires easily enough but I would never race anything with it. I wonder if the intake comes into play a bit more than I thought.
Other than the...
The car runs like a champ, but the suspension is weak. I will leave the intake as is for now until I decide if I'm gonna sell or keep it.
If you look at the pictures above (of the MAF) you can see the oil dipstick. It should be okay in that position, although its not that easy to get at...
I have a PDF that shows install that may help if you want to pm me your email.
My manifold is out getting ceramic coated, probably won't be installed until late june
Google Supra COP mod, it will lead you to the thread. Lays it all out and explains it. Fairly certain with a standalone system it removes the wasted spark firing order to help prevent spark blowout too, but I haven't researched it much yet.
The studs themselves seem to be okay, the nut was the issue, but I have about 4 full sets sitting here. Not sure how difficult it would have been but I remember my odyssey was a pain when a tire shop cross threaded one stud.
You don't need the walbro initially with the 550's if I understand it all. I had to turn my fuel pressure down lower than normal with my MKIV Denso fuel pump as it overfed at WOT and would wash the combustion chamber oil off. Someone can correct me, but I am fairly certain the 550's are fine on...
Yeah, Im about 8 blocks up from the end of Southland drive where its basically a lake now where the river was. Amazing amount of water in this city... never would have imagined this happening actually. Overall, other than the lives lost in High River because I think they were caught with about...
Because parts were in boxes there may have been some inter mixing but fairly certain it's all Cressida for the intake.
The oil pan and sump were used from the Supra 7m.
The dipstick is near the front of the engine. Pain in the butt reaching it, as the handle is just behind the distributor.
It...
Some move the rad overflow there because upgraded intercoolers run into it...

I think the ECU dictates the harness, not the engine. the 87 7MGTE and the 90 7MGTE are the same beast (although I think they may have strengthened the block on the 90.. ). If it runs like poop.. perhaps he has some other issue?
Over the 3 years, I just think they strengthened things, corrected...
Yeah, scary thinking about it... 110 kph with one lugnut holding the wheel... could have been a bad end to that one. Luckily it held. Have them all on properly now and torqued... will retorque after a little drive. No more thump.
I think the sound was the wheel moving side to side on the lug...
