    IDK. You should check it with a straight edge and feeler gauges like in the TSRM. Don't think I would have sanded it, did you use a belt sander:) Better to use acetone to remove the residue.

    Just fabing a shield out of aluminum won't help too much. They make a shielding material that has insulation in it. Or you can wrap the header.

    Thanks for the explaination and comparison. I think there was a charge for the harness on the Maft-Pro, seems it was around $69, and the IAT sensor.

    How does this compare with the Maft-Pro as far as price, being able to connect to a laptop, etc.? I have the Maft-Pro and you can monitor almost everything. Yes tuning can be tricky on a NA which means you have to be able to not only sample but tune, can this be done with the Emanage?

    Have you put a timing light on it? Checked the TPS to make sure it is aet right?

    It can be done, it's just with a stick the pilot bearing has so little play and you have to make sure it's lined up pretty much dead nuts, or you could damage the pilot bearing. BTW to the OP, did you chang the Pilot bearing? Good idea to change it while the motor is out, I don't see too many...

    With or without help it's a PITA getting it to line up. Much easier to mount them together, then drop them in.

    JDM's do not have the "clean out" cover. I don't know why it's there other than access to clean it out some from the PVC deposits.

    +1 Grim^^ I did all that, plus a stroker kit, 60 over 10.5 to 1 pistons, headers, and a few other things, and yes it does feel like a different car. BTW I dynoed at 215 rwhp and 207 torque.

    It's in the TSRM, you need a fuel pressure gauge. Or you can buy one to mount so you can keep an eye on it.
