    I kind of have to agree with Homer on this. If the motor wouldn't even turn, why? If the rings were somewhat froze up, by getting it to turn, you will be wiping all kinds of stuff on the cyinders, not to mention moving it thru the whole motor.     I would have switched out everything you knew was in good working order to the JDM, it would elimate a lot of guess work later. Are you sure the TPS is set right?

    ^^ Old enough yeah. But you can teach an old dog new tricks. Thanks for the expert explanation JJ. Why is it that a lot of owners think they can time the motor without a light?? Even the old carb cars you had to use a light.

    Not that I understand how it all works, but I think you have to have the ECU to have a working EFI system. Guys like Jdub. JJ, CRE, IJ, and a few others are here to help us understand the inter-reaction of all the sensors. Thanks to them I understand a hell of alot more than before I found this...

    It's mounted on the intake and has a fuel line going to it. You can check it with a ohmmeter, suppose to read 2-4 ohms.

    I think the Aeromotive FPR states that it will not hold pressure after shut down. That is if the key is off.

    I think Suprarx7nut is referring to the dab of rtv you are suppose to put were thr frount cover meets the block under the HG in front of the motor.
