yea, If you have a big turbo on there you will get some creep.
Exhaust from the front set of the runners doesn't really travel to the wastegate and will cause creep.
On the 2jz, sub 67mm turbos seem fine, above that they have creep.

My local hydrolic shop does a/c lines as well, maybe yours too? Take your current lines to one and see if they can replace the rubber peices. Im sure they use R134 rated hose.
In the OP it said tranny swap so assume hes going to a r154. Remember all the little parts, ignitor, ecu, harness, intercooler piping, clutch, drive shaft, etc.. you'll have 2k+ in parts easy.
