Yep I picked up mine at the same place. I just used a inch lbs. torque wrench to tighten them and every thing was go to go. Plus new cam cover gaskets from Toyota. Maybe people are over tighting them causing them to fail so fast?

From the very limited knowledge of the 1jz I have, and from your last post is sounds more and more like the ECU. Do you have access to another one you can test with? Unless you really think all 6 injectors froze up, (highly doubt that)

Yes and no, all depends on the tune. Reading around the 1.5 jz is the ticket. You get the best of both worlds in the jz family. The 1jz head flows way better then the 2jz head, and you get the displacement of the 2jz. Nice supra BTW, but Im not sure about you avatar yet.

Yep I have read about that happening too. But so far so good, they have been on 7m for about a year with no sings of fail yet . When they fail I have more unless I just order some new Toyo ones.

I used a washer with a grommet already attached to it. I picked up a package of 100 so I have extra if I need to replace them.

Bah. I can work and spend $$$$, and work on the supra all spring, summer, fall, winter long. You can only ride a sled maybe 2 months of the year. Also there is no huge hurry to work on/ finish the sup. Plus many more parts are needed to finish it. I have always been a fan of A/C. Not so...
