Might be able to see a little better with the distributor cap off. The 90 degree rubber hose is held on with hose clamps if they are stock.
They have a tendency to dry out, check the one below the #6 exhaust port, it's a cap. That one really dries out due to location and will let...
Could be the CSI is stuck open causing it to run rich, don't know for sure or how much fuel the CSI spits out.

I've been using the Maft-Pro for about 2 years now and no problems.
There are some stickies in the piggyback section, check them out, CRE was a big help setting mine up but he hasn't been around lately on the forums.
I think you found your problem, at least a lot of them.
Yes BHG will cause hard to start, little compression means little bang.
Coolant and gas doesn't burn very well either. :)
Had the same problem with mine, hard turns, hard breaking, rod or two gets starved for oil. Extra quart over full may help.
I extended my oil pan and pick up by 2", added baffles, and still run an extra quart over. So far so good.
There are some good rebuild stickies, read all of them and pay...
Still could have some codes stored even if the cel isn't on.
Check all your grounds. Did they change the plug wires?
Also the only sure way of checking injectors is to have them cleaned and flow tested.
