I've never had an issue with the AFC Neo affecting my car in the ways listed above, and let's just say weather in FL rapidly changes day to day, specifically this time of year (then again, I also have a TRD ecu with multiple revisions, so that may be the difference). That being said, it is what...
destroyed the lip on the way home after this.. the car is going full 89+ front as a result. it's just time, especially since the rest of the car has already been converted.
not for the mk3 apparently.. I recommended a set to this guy, and he called KW, and they told him they don't make them anymore or something to that effect.
you can easily and safely do 400whp (there are plenty that have done more) with an SAFC and usdm 550s.. anything beyond 550s usually makes for a good argument to switch to standalone.
once you pass the limitations of an SAFC, and I'm going to be blunt with you, stop right there and get serious...

Finally.. it will NOT be a hybrid either, as many have...
I was researching and asking around about the S256 somewhat and came across the S259, which seems to flow slightly more with near identical response to the 56. Both of these turbo's exhaust housing options don't please me too much though (T4 undivided mani for my setup).
that's awesome! I need...
You are correct it would seem. I had it in mind that the S256 flowed the same as the 30R, but it is far more substantial. In fact, it it closer to the 35R than the S360, and most likely has better response since the S360 more or less matches the 35r spool characteristics.
If I didn't have a...
Probably not gonna make 450whp with that turbo :/
Good choice going with BW and twin-scroll though.. you should do the S360 with the .91 T4 twinscroll housing.
pretty much the best turbo you could buy aside from a Borg Warner EFR.. I think you are going to be ridiculously happy with that choice.

yeah, it happens.
the price for the Borg Warner S362 FMW, which is the turbo most comparable to the the 6262 billet (journal bearing) is $1149, and it's built like a tank.. if you don't care about the billet wheels, then you can get an S360(83-75) or S363(88-75) for a little over $700 new...
Well, first of all, I would suggest going with Garrett, Borg Warner, Turbonetics, or Comp before ever considering Precision because I have been enlightened in regards to their QC/design.. I do not feel they are very good turbos at all anymore. At one point in time they were, so don't get me...
IMO, you really don't want anything smaller than a T3 .82 backhousing on these motors if you want flow up top.. the .63 will spool faster but it will be a midrange biased turbo.
From experience, you should make ~450whp at ~4k rpm (.82) provided you have the right supporting mods.
From all I have witnessed, one would really have to work the turbo to get those numbers (again, regardless of housing), and after one or two runs would be blowing hot air.. So, I don't think it's a realistic option unfortunately. Now for 400whp? Well, it might be good for that, but for such a...
