I pulled out my charcoal can, and now i got hoses laying around with screws in them, I read on DM that doing just that can cause heat building in the no 6. cyl, so i would like to find out what all i really need to do to correct this. Putting the charcoal can back in isnt really a option, cause...
Yeah one way i know my sensors bad... on startup itll go to like 14.7... the SLOWLY drop till its @ like 11.2 then drop a little more, then start climbing towards 16-18... then slowly bounces back. Under accel (well 50%+) Its all good cause my widebands still reading good with the safc...
Anyone know if i can use that ford exploder one if i cut the plug off, cause i believe the plugs are different. Im assuming its the same sensor, just a different plug.
Does anyone know @ what % throttle the loop switches from closed to open? I notice when im driving and cruising (neo says around 6-8% throttle) my afr's bounce btween 14.7-15.2 and just bounce ridicolously. Not sure if thats cause the oxygen sensor is bad, or what. I know thats right where its...
My o2 went bad, entirely dead. Hit it with a voltmeter + torch and nothing. Anyways, can this throw off my afrs or anything due to no oxygen sensor voltage?
If you notice how short that pipe is it wouldn't make it, so he had to cut some other pipes up and strap em down in there. I had to do something like that to make a S curve w/ couplers to get my intercooler on.
Dude im not even gonna fight about it anymore, not gonna fight with you or jdub or anyone, not worth it. I have not yet seen one post ever about removing/drilling out the J-Tube with only installing a 255. Yes remove it for a AFPR / Injectors / Almost anything else but i have yet to hear that...
That sure helps a lot jDub, i answer the questions you ask me, and still no help! Thanks! Sorry i didn't quote every question in its own section and answer it accordingly!!!!
How is this? I gave AFR's once before but ill do it again. If its WOT Its pig rich (10.0 flat on my wideband) till i get up past 5k then it might hit 10.2-10.3, which is when im getting these 1400+ EGT Readings... EGR is still in there, i figured you would think so if i didn't say anything about...
Alright sorry, @ WOT Im seeing low low low 10's. Most of the time it just pegs 10.0 (I got a AEM Uego Wideband) and then by 5.5k or so it might hit 10.3-10.5 tops. No J-Tube bypass, just the walbro for now. Saving up monies for the fuel system. IT IS 100% Stock tune btw! Im waiting to get my...
All these temps are off memory so there not the most accurate

Apexi filter, cooleze intake pipe, stock 168k mile turbo, 2.5 inch ic piping w/ fmic (spearco replica) , 3 inch turbo back no cats , turboxs mbc...
Im gonna throw my .02 cents in here cause i ran a SSQV (Vented to atmosphere) on a 100% Stock auto turbo supra. Dont do it, Its no fun. Anytime you dump (If you dont get RIGHT back on it) your car will bog then start bucking, then die out. Its not worth the ricery whoooosshhh to have those...
My suggestion, would be turn the bov face down so its dump part points down, get the 1 inch for it so its not all ghetto, and just shove a little piece of rubber right there. Thats just me.
my mechanics installing my safc, and he called me and was wondering if it worked when it was pulled out of the previous car, because the screen wont work. The buttons will light up and shit but theres nothing on the screen. bad safc, or wrong wiring.
Stock suspenshion. Gonna go soon, but i don't plan on really lowering my car. Going to get some good shocks/springs and hopefully it doesnt fall too far. Cant afford coilovers.
Lol, i know its been done a ton, i just wanted to make sure i wasn't going to have to cut anything. A lot of the guys i hang around with are F Body / Mustang Lovers (AKA MULLET MOBILES) and they always have to cut bolts and random shit to stick fat tires under there.
